  1. Playing devils advocate here I wonder if they are really talking from the heart, is this all they can say because if they state what they really think the people in charge will not be happy and they could lose their jobs. I guess we will never know but my feeling is they ran out of time due to the greedy suits and now they are stuck making pathetic excuses that don't add up. To be honest whatever the truth is there should be a proper police system for starters and if its not in the next big patch that will say it all. At the end of the day if they don't like questions they should not stream.

  2. People keep parroting that it was all the investors and management's fault the game got released in that state, conveniently forgetting it was that piece of ** and other devs like him who went around blatantly lying about game features that never appeared in the game.

I mean he is literally the very person who said the life path choice would play a big role and have consequences throughout the entire game. This was in their Deep dive Q&A that is still up in the Cyberpunk official channel btw.

Fortunately with UE5 and the Matrix tech demo it's clear far better open world games will be created in the near future, so there's no need to even bother hoping for Cyberpunk "to get good" (and it never will since the problems are fundamental rather than just technical anyway.)

And with any luck a good futuristic game will appear eventually (maybe a Matrix, Blade Runner or a Megacity-one/2000AD game?) so we can put the CDPR scam behind us for good.

PS > I'm very glad I was able to get my refund, it still took a month to get processed by GOG, but there was no chance I was gonna leave my money with those scammers.

  3. So no more it is the management fault argument! Well, at least we still have Fromsoftware and Larian studios to trust that they will make good working games! CDPR is a lost cause at this point!

  4. The basic driving physics and steering doesn't even work right (even though satisfying driving physics is constantly being implemented in all sorts of games every year), which is embarrassing enough without even considering additional systems like police chases.

The vehicles move around as if they're mounted on a single ice skate at their center point, and just spin on center rather than actually steering along the path of the wheels.

  5. A very bad sign for the future of CP2077 is that here we are a year after launch and still no real, content rich DLC's have been introduced or even teased. I don't give a dam if it ever runs on last-gen consoles, get a real PC if you want the best experience!

  6. Sasco, what a Lying little Shit, Cyberpunk 2077 will be the Next Big Thing in Next Gen RPG's we're You can Speak to any NPC & get involved in there Story as well as a Full Complex Police System, that was what was Staighted in there Premotional Material. If that's the kind of Consetted Answer we're going to be getting from there Dev's, I can't See Cyberpunk 2077 getting the Treatment of No Man's Sky.

  7. Cyberpunk will basically be offloaded this year I’m betting we get the visual update in like February ish maybe 1 or 2 more patches , then some shit dlc and then they move on to a new project knowing they robbed us of our money. I’ll never preorder a game from them again total garbage move to release a broken game then pawn it off as working fine.

  8. Now that "not all open world games…sonic, elden ring…" answer is a perfect example of a strawman. Seriously, WTF? Get bent, Sasko! Fix your damn game! What did we expect him to say? NOT A DAMN STRAWMAN, THAT'S FOR SURE! Okay, the full thing is better, and he was probably a little annoyed, but being cheeky isn't going to help when we're a year past launch and so much is still missing. I'm still hopeful for the future of CP2077, but CDPR should still be eating that humble pie until we get a properly finished product.

  9. I can’t bring myself to redownload this game and finally pass it.
    This is unacceptable…🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️
I’ll probably wait 10yrs to see what modders come up with.

Literally all their trailers said “subject to change” before launch.
    They bamboozled us all.

  10. I didn't jump into the game with high expectations like most people. I enjoyed it for what it was. The game is stable now with minor bugs on next gen but I get why people were disappointed, there was content that was promised and wasn't delivered with a poorly executed launch that was unplayable. I enjoyed my play through and the story had me connected to the world of cyberpunk. I hope CDPR learns from this mistake so it doesn't happen again in the future.

  11. Feel that the CDPR team were lazy and to eager to bring in money to satisfy the Shareholders.

The launch made it feel like it would have a decent police system as this is what is expected when you launch a game like this.

They really need to make hard changes because its going to jeep upsetting the fans and the new fans that recent bought the game

  12. How are there technical limitations preventing them from implementing a system that 15 year old games have? Even the Witcher had guards that at least somewhat pursued you. Honestly, I’m not sure why they’re even defending themselves when their AAA title got pulled from PlayStation. How fraudulent do you have to be to make that happen?

  13. honestly at this point i am not sure if i will play a payed dlc. not because the game is bad but because i dont want to spend money on liars… they say keanu played the game, he himself said he never did. they said gang car chases are a part of the game like it would happen frequently, happens exactly once.. the police system.. honestly i am not sure anymore what i can believe them.. there is a ton of open world games who have a working police system.. try to kill a chicken in skyrim😉. Police does not always have to be police with cars and helicopters… cyberpunk police doesnt even chase you around the corner… idk im torn… i love that game but i have my doubts to pay money to people who lie to make money. i rather spend my money on the new horizon game that is released in february because i know they will deliver.. they didnt over hype the game and spend more time working on it then talking it good

  14. personally, the reason cp 2077 turned me off was because the world kept breaking my immersion. it's a great setting but compiled with the unbelievable stupidity from the AI and well, the game just plain pissing me off as I played. I honestly dropped it on my 3rd day and never looked back.

  15. CP2077 ddevelopers have been insulting gamers since December 2020. They are making fun of everyone who bought the game. Why? Because they know people will rush to buy their game no matter what.

  16. CDPR fans in response: "Thank you, thank you, thank you for communicating, we love you. Police chases are for GTA fans, we are so happy it is not in the game!"

  17. – "Why are there no police chases in the game?"
    – "It was due to technical limitations. But don't worry, modders are working very hard on adding it to the game, just be patient".

  18. For me i dont care about the police, most people complain on vids anyways in like gta, when police comes after you while they shoot random npc or out window of the car, then they die and gets more mad its fun, but anyways police in C2077 i just dont care i was there for the srory i like it, could it be better sure yeah.

  19. I was laughing out loud so much to this one XD. I don't know what was the bigger joke, the reasoning he gives for the broken non functioning police system, or the shill that valiantly white knights his defense. Hilarious.
