  1. I'm a fan of both games but Witcher 3 is on another level. No other game makes me feel the way I feel when I play Witcher and that's probably why its the only game ever that I've repeated more than 5 times and still be entertained and find new things/secrets I didn't find on my last playthrough.
Edit: these new players are out here disrespecting one of the best games ever made.

  2. Question: Have you ever put hundreds of hours into a game you didn't like?
Answer: Yes, I have put almost 7000 hrs into Doom 2016 multi-player. I hate this game (Doom 2016) because it's riddled with hackers and has zero oversight from Bethesda, they basically let the Doom franchise die. But Cyberpunk isn't the same. As a designer/illustrator/photographer I can say that Cyberpunk is beautiful to look at, but it's a dead city, there are so many missed opportunities to bring immersive elements into this game. I sometimes wish I was a coder so I can make mods to fix some of these issues.

I think this game has survived this long because it's partly psychological.

My theory is when we walk or drive around the city we (the player) are psychologically making up stories to make up for the lack of immersion. Such as, imagining people are actually living out their day/night as it was said in the E3 48-minute demo. All those buildings have nothing going on in them, you can't even enter the majority of them, but there must be people in them, and there must be things happening, these are the gaps we are filling in with our imagination as we go from one part of the city to the other. Because there really isn't much going on in the game world, and the AI is not good. It's fun and I do like jumping into it from time to time with mods to make things more challenging but I haven't beaten it yet.

I have a ton of hours in this game as I make ReShades for it and I showcase virtual photography from other players. I feel that if/when I beat this game then I won't have any reason to turn it on anymore, and right now going into winter I want to have this game to jump into every now and then. I love the world of Cyberpunk but what we really need is an AI/immersion update to really bring this experience to the next level.

  3. I put like 215 hours into cyberpunk, I’m on my second play through and I have the flying car mod. I’m also playing on an Ultrawide monitor on high and ultra graphics. I like this game but my favorite game at the moment is probably Spider-Man Miles Moralis

  4. If I don’t like a game I’m definitely not putting 150hrs into it. Love cyberpunk and on my 6th play through and this go round I’m doing way more walking then driving and boy it’s a different experience! Highly recommend

  5. CDPR has given their heart and soul to Cyberpunk, and it shows. I've been with the game since the beginning, and I am so proud of CDPR for not giving up on the game and listening to the feedback of the people that stuck with the game and and the people who believed in it. I'm definitely exited for the future of Cyberpunk and CDPR.

  6. I was worried that after 1.7 and Phantom Liberty. Cyberpunk will be ditched and left with major problems unfixed until at 15:20 when you were taking about the Cyberpunk Updates, I noticed the notification in the top right telling you that No Mans Sky has been updated. What’s a bigger sign then “No Man’s Sky, Updated”

  8. Sorry but Cyberpunk 2077 is a turd compared to the Witcher 3. Witcher 3 is dam near a masterpiece. Cyberpunk 2077 is still buggy to this day, and imo the combat and alot of the missions are boring af. I found it hard to finish Cyberpunk because I just plain got bored with it. Night fity is beautiful but they obviously put all their effort into the world and not nearly as much effort into the actual gameplay mechanics and missions. Not to mention the clothing in cb2077 omg. Alot of cool looking clothing but it was like no one on the dev team stopped to see if any of the clothing looked good together. It's so hard to make your character look good in the game. Cyberpunk 2077 fell short in way too many areas. I hope the sequel is better and I feel like it will be since it's going to be built on UE5.

  9. I feel like most of the people who trash on this game endlessly just do it for no reason. That, or they just didn't have the intellect to understand the story or keep memories long enough to use them after 15 minutes. I mean, who forgets the main characters names? I thought the story of Cyberpunk was supposed to stick with you, it did for me. This guy in the video though can only remember Judy? I mean, come on. That's just ridiculous. Maybe this guy should go play cod or something

  10. Cyberpunk is at a mid level D. Although the esthetics are there and the attempt to to create a immersive world but the game still feels dead (no police chases and the list continues) NPCs horrible better than launch but horrible.

This game does has huge potential of being the best game bit its like going to a five star restaurant to order a grilled cheese. No gun upgrades no third person no extra mods to chrome up. Just bland gamplay and as a gamer it brings short commings of being a life long fan. I got this game because of the possibilities of a great open world experience with limitless customization, great storyline, graphics to match immersive world. But the game lacks in three of these aspects.

  11. I don't know when it happened but it seems like the toned down the music that played when you got into combat or would randomly play in the background just walking around the city. I loved that and wish there was a way to turn it back on.

  12. I love 2077 infinitely more then Witcher 3, purely because I love the cyberpunk genre. Fantasy settings rarely appeal to me, and I was never a big fan of The Witcher franchise. CDPR being the developer had absolutely no bearing on how much I was looking forward to the game. Maybe that's why I wasn't stung so bad on release. I didn't go in with any expectations with CDPR.

I don't doubt for a second they'll absolutely nail Orion.

  13. I honestly feel like Pawel and the team will make a sequel that is even better than cp 2077 because they know the mistakes they made and now they have been given a second chance, you can see the fire in Pawel’s eyes when he talks about the sequel.

  14. Sadly no promises or news of any future game from CDPR is going to be viewed the same anymore. They had an amazing trilogy with The Witcher series, which attributed to so many Cyberpunk preorders and it’s “success”. However little has to be said about the actual product we received. It’s still an enjoyable game, but nothing we were told of. From now on, anything promised by CDPR will be on a “I’ll believe it when I see it” basis. And honestly, most gaming companies are like that now. It’s just a shame they had to be added to that list.

  15. Not being funny but if u hated a game then why would u put 150 hours into it If it was a game I hated I wouldn't evan put that many hours into it for me I prob put 20 mins into a game before I decided I hated it maybe 30 that seems long enough to determine weather or not u liked or hated a game

  16. I don't think CP2077 open world is better than TW3. In TW3 all NPCs feel alive, even if traveling they have their own dialogues and some even tell a story that's interesting, but even when they get to their villages or from point A-to-B they start doing tasks. On the other hand CP2077 NPCs are mostly just walking, very robotic.
CDPR has a lot of work ahead for the sequel in order to make up for CP2077 and to really earn this review headline.

And talking about the sequel, I hope it is a continuation of V's story maybe from a new MC a few years after 2077 (2080?) that carries on V's legacy and we get to see familiar faces.

  17. The talent pool available in the area they are going to is INSANE. Seriously. They have Harvard, Brown, UMass Amherst, Umass Doston, Umass Dartmouth, URI, Providence College, about 25 exceptional Junior Colleges, 5 New England Tech campuses, and oh yeah, MIT and Berkley…all within a 50 mile radius (well, UMass Dartmouth is about 60 miles away, but close enough. That campus looks like it was built in the year 2500, not in the 1970's. Awesome campus.) with literally hundreds of thousands of students who are not only exceptionally talented on the tech or creative side, but chances are; They already love the games.

It may be not be the largest city at 650K give or take, but you have another 2 or 3 million in the surrounding area, all of which are extremely tech savy, educated, and incredibly creative with more…no nonsense hard working "Let's put in 70 hours a week and get this shit done" types of attitude that actually enjoy their work. It's not crunching if you are enjoying yourself and getting paid well for it. When I hear about studio burnout I almost feel like the people don't like their jobs all that much. I've had jobs where 65 hours+/wk for months on end was great, oftn hanging out for an hour or two after my shift was over. I've had other jobs where 50 hours for a couple of weeks straight was a stressful nightmare. The difference? I loved one job and was ONLY working to pay my bills while I searched for something else at the other.

On occasion you'll hear a dev brag about their teams working like nuts, sleeping at work all to make a fantastic project. We usually get kinda pissed, like they are screwing their employees, but if they love their jobs, is that necessarily a bad thing? They will find a ton of people where they are going who are workign well below their talent level in and around Boston. Whether it's people working for government contractors (Raytheon, Bowing etc.) or Medical Software companies (good pay, boring as hell) who don't want to move and take a chance with a video game company that will jump at the chance to apply with CDPR.

There's a reason they chose Boston, and I believe it will pay off in spades for them, the community they are moving to, and to us, the fans and consumers.

Oh, and right now Cyberpunk is in better shape than TW3. The update has made the game objectively worse for EVERYONE on PC that does not have a 40 (Lovelace) series GPU as you need frame generation to use Raytracing, and the game is way, way less responsive now. Without RT on I get over 100 FPS, but have to play on the 2nd difficulty as the to harder ones have me getting killed constantly because the controls are wicked unresponsive. Idk what they did wrong, but it's not good, and that is with no RT at high settings, not Ultra+ using an R7 5800X, a 3080 FE 10GB, 32GB of 3200 cL 14-14-14-38 DDR4 with the game on a $450 2TB Samsung Evo m.2. 1440P, DLSS set to fricken balanced. When I turn on RT it is not just unresponsive, but it drops to a stuttering mess with 10-20 FPS WITHOUT enemies on the screen! Not in a city, just in the wilderness. 10-20 FPS. Are you kidding me. Not just the first time through either. Every time. Awful. I even tried DLSS Performance so it is upscaling from 480P and outside in the forest I was still at 20 or less FPS; just using Global Illumination. For reference, using the same settings in Cyberpunk I'd be at 70FPS. It is f'ing broken.

CPU usage could be the culprit, as it relies incredibly heavily on it, loading up 1 core to 100%, the next few to 30%, and the rest it does shit with. My GPU will be around 35-50% usage most of the time while 1 core is pegged on my CPU, 3 are barely being touched, and the rest are doing nadda. It sucks. It screwed up the base GotY Edition on PC and they need to fix it. By killing the mods I used + the laggy controls now (even at 100+ FPS) they objectively made the game worse. No more "Beatable Gaurds" mode, as of course every no name gaurd in every city is 5x more powerful than you are, duh.

Just the opposite of the Cyberpunk launch, on PC this update is trash and I recommend no one update unless they have a 4k series card from Nvidia. It simply isn't worth the headache. Wait for them to fix their fix of the fix, because atm, this is a console and Lovelace port. it probably worked great until they let Nvidia play with it, at which point I guaranty, just like what happened with LoD and Hairworks at the games launch (Nvidia had them rendering details on rocks, grass that was way off screen blowing int he wind with hairworks tessellation active on EVERYTHING, even if it was covered or BLOCKED by a mountain which hurt their performance, but crippled AMD's), Nvidia optimized this their newest cards as a bragging point while making the game, with it's new features on, at least twice as taxing as it should be for most people. The CPU usage thing is just sloppy code written by people who were either in a big rush or don't understand thread scheduling.
