  1. It suck and they should do something for the guys on old gen consoles, that said they never should have put it out on older gen consoles to begin with, the game struggled to run on a lot of PCs that were using better gear than was in them consoles, it's like expecting me to run a marathon it just can't happen (I'm disabled and can barely walk and when I do I'm in pain) I'm actually surprised it ran fine on my 2060 super but I never tried to run it on max settings.

  2. So my suggestion for any older gen console owner would be to look at the steam deck, it's technically a mid way point between a full pc and a console, cyberpunk can run on it and while it is a portable device it can be linked to your TV (steam is working on a dock) and the best this is with it been a pc it opens you up to the larger range of games on any system and there also normally cheaper than on consoles, I think the base unit of the steam deck is about 250 to 300 so while it's not the cheapest it's better than a lot of options and you don't have to drop into going full pc (though you should it's easier than you think)

  3. Having a game this hard to run, running on 10year old hardware (Actually like 14 year old hardware because consoles are always lagging), is a joke. Only reason it was even on those consoles is because the modern consoles were so fucking late and are so hard to get.

  4. Well I think dropping the old gen support now is okay. The game can be played through. If they keep updating 2077 through the years, it would have been bound to happen any day now. Although I suppose they could have just said it’s fine until the paid dlc and drop support on that…

  5. Cyberpunks 2077 1.6 patch, killed vorpx VR. I am so sad. Cyberpunk was amazing in VR and this fucking bullshit update killed the greatest game ever. Is there anyone out there that can fix this atrocity? Please help.

  6. They have made bad choices for updates every step. They do a mini game and cross save, instead of car customization or police system update?? They are doing the easiest stuff instead of focusing on what the player really wants.

  7. The 1.6 update has reintroduced the hard crashes on my ps4. Also gutted that they are leaving last gen behind. I would have paid good money for Phantom Liberty but i don't have a ps5 nor will i buy one in the near future, what with the price hike and less than stellar availability. Great work CDPR!

  8. The old console generation didn't hold back CP2077 – the capabilities of CDPR did and do.
If you were right, CP2077 would run like a dream on modern hardware. Or have all advertised features but look somewhat outdated.
Get real. Code quality and scripting finesse are the walls CDPR constantly smashes into.

  9. I'm glad they're moving full speed ahead with the next gen versions.

They should have delayed the game for 2 years and cancelled the last gen versions to begin with though.

A huge chunk of their sales were last gen, so I can understand their massive disappointment and anger.

  10. To all the people from old gen, if you really wanna play the game in the future for a low cost remember that the game runs on stadia and you only need a laptop/pc that can move google chrome and stable wifi to run the game.

The only thing you have to pay is for the game itself and you can play it as long as you want for as long as google maintains stadia alive.

  11. If I don't go back to this game in the next two months I might not play it for another year from now, come November 9th it's going to be all about GOW Ragnarok,in February I'll be playing Hogwarts Legacy but I know I'll play Cyberpunk again especially if they expand the story

  12. I played this game through about 60% when it was 1st released. Until the updates got out of hand. I only remember a couple glitches on my ps4 pro. Like 1 car sunk into the street. Gonna give it another try now they're leaving it alone.

  13. Should we hold back gaming development because people still play on a PS2? No. Should we hold back gaming development because some people can't afford a gaming PC? No. Should game developers know that they have a smaller customer base if they make games that needs the latest technology? Yes.

  14. Lol so i have no reason to return to night city then?, no new game plus no expansion and updates lol so like aruthur morgan my V just rode off into the sunset with Panam started and ended as a nomad …thats it (lol I dont have the money to just drop on a slightly updated console then turn and pay for an expansion this is big Sad) and anyone who hopes they wont abondon cyberpunk 2077 after this they will they will, they will return to the "if it aint broke don't fix it model" with witcher understandable but they should still try and keep the game going but with burnout and crunch they would likely prefer witcher because of creativity

  15. Im pissed that they arent giving me any DLC for the previous gen. I preorded this 2 years ago….everytime they update the game it breaks the game even more, constant crashes, the game never works right and the things that do work right they nerf or break. And for those saying "just upgrage" some people dont have that option and thatd be fine if the game wasnt avalible for previous gen but they charged me full price for a broken game and never fixed it….

  16. The PS4 is now 10 year old hardware. That is basically more then full generation behind at this point. That is like expecting to a PS2 game on a SNES!
This was long overdue. The game never should have released on those platforms in the first place, and now they are finally admitting to that.
Of course that is little consolation for people on the platforms that no longer get supported but it was inevitable if they wanted to move on and make the game any better.

  17. think moving forward, if i ever do get cyberpunk 2077 again i just get it on steam , as don't really feel need for ps5 as got cyberpunk on ps4 currently but getting it on my gaming pc over say getting ps5 is better choice in long run for me (as get more benefits off steam version to say buying whole new console which i still think is over priced and not jumping at)

  18. CDPR lose some points for dropping support on a console they pushed on game launch in bad faith. I do believe however full refunds were offered. Anyone unhappy with a brand new game landing on PS4 and it clearly being borderline capable of running should have taken that refund. Or maybe we can hope for a magical solution. I mean, if it wasnt for pesky developers pushing graphics i could play Cyberpunk on the quake engine on my Pentium 2. Once upon a time console manufacturers exerted significant control over releases. Whilst prices were high you just would not get a game release on a console that was beyond the hardware. Prices have equalised a lot and maybe this is the cost. Bethesda games should not be released on console in my opinion and console owners shouldnt buy them. But hey go ahead and buy games from a company renowned for releasing with bugs and a game where fixing the problems are inherently difficult on the platform, because i spent half the money on my console and i just have to have Game X.
