The most anticipated game of 2020 ended up becoming one of the most divisive games of the year. Opinions on the game differ widely, so lets try and unpack what is going on here, starting with the bad stuff first.

  1. Some small tips.
    1) You can turn your car lights on (you'd be surprised how many people don't know that)
    2) The map as various filters you can turn on an off again some don't seem to notice this
    3) You can knock someone down by shooting them until their health is low and then ending them with a leg or arm shot – knocking them to the floor then either leave them alive – or kill them when they are grounded for bonus XP
So yeah you don't need non-lethal weapons to be non-lethal – just don't use explosive weapons or shoot people in the head
    4) You can get someone out of their car by shooting the car (say the window frame) and they will bail out of the car immediately even if they otherwise refuse to get out
    5) You can get a cat for your apartment (no really)
    6) The Appartment, cars and bike are actually 3 distinct stash spaces (some people don't even know the bikes have a stash space)
    7) You have a max amount of ammo – anything else crafted or picked up past that point will just disappear – very easy to have happen on sniper rifle & shotgun ammo – so sell it or stash it or keep your item in raw material state
    8) Grenades have some hidden features (like sticky ability) that isn't obvious
    9) The weapon wheel has multiple layers
    10) As the game is a bit broken some armour mods don't stack properly – they seem to work better if you use a mix of tiers though
    11) The stats the game tells you are sometimes – well wrong (such as movement speed)
    12) If you visit a fixer's location on the map in person they unlock jobs in advance rather than you having to wait for a phone call to appear when you are in a mission location.
    13) Some ripper docs have unique items or offer a discount – they usually require you to do something specific to access them – like not punch someone or find out their dirty little secrets.
    14) Certain romance options are gender / body type specific & not available for others.

I hope at least one of those tips is useful to someone.

  2. I got it at launch and the only glitches I noticed were one cyberpsycho mission breaking and being unfixable and some random loot pieces I couldn't pick up.

I did really love this game but I noticed it was kinda only good for one playthrough. The different paths don't really change things that much and the different skill trees are too similar to fundamentally make it a different experience.

  3. My biggest gripe is that CP is not an RPG it is Pseudo-RPG at best. You have no control over the events you just react to stuff happening around and to your character. Passive protagonist V just rides the rails other people set up for him until the sad end. I actually liked the ending where V shoots himself in the head because you actually take control of your destinyfor once. Refusing to repeat the pointless cycle of violence that Silverhand wants you to repeat.

  4. This game needs to be walked around the shed & shot lol. It is illegal to sell an unfinished product & false advertising!!! I bought this game day 1 under false pretenses! Still haven't been able to play it on ps4pro or ps5. Sad, I wanted this game to be good. Funny thing is I use this game now as a reminder to never buy a game w/o doing proper research.

  5. Honestly I disagree and agree with half of what is said here in reality the game was overhyped and fell short of expectations Maybe it's not shit but it's far from a great game if you say it's a great game you don't know what greatness is FYI I'm a base ps4 player just saying

  6. The first and only time I've played through this game, all I could think about afterwards was how there was the shadow of a good game in there, it just needs another 5 years' worth of polish, bug fixing, and fleshing out features.

  7. its times like this that im glad im a cheap bugger who buys games ages after they come out and drop in price, gives devs time to fix their fuck ups and even if i dont like it ive not wasted much money, i dont get too invested in the developers or hype either thankfully, enjoy games on their own merits not the circus surrounding them, it helps

  8. I really enjoyed cyberpunk 2077, I didn't know anything about the game or the hype until it came out, had no idea who Mike Pondsmith was, but now I do and clearly the man is a fucking genius of world building and I didn't know anything about the cyberpunk universe until I played the game. And I played it on PC, not a fucking PS4, who the fuck in there right fucking mind though that this ground breaking graphical engine designed for hardware that didn't exist yet was going to run well on a 7 year old hamster wheel.

  9. You can sleep with Militech tough girl. ✅
You can find Dexter's dead body in the dump, and take a revenge.✅
You can buy a dildo or even two, then open you inventory to see if its usefull, and in the next ten seconds ask a legit question "Where the hell is my dildo's"✅
and many many more fun things to do. My local price is 30$, twise as low as ather AAA titles, how ever i spent only 10. Conclusions: Good story, great price, breathtaking Jonny Silverhand, no microtransactions also great, cdpr launcher in epic launcher is not great, "16 times the detail" promises not great.

  10. Coming late to the Party: i bought Vanilla. Played it for 125 Hours straight (Lockdown in Zermany) realized in a Dialogue Scene with Panam, how lonesome the Pandemic had made me. Was infuriated about the Call-of-Duty-Tank-Mission… And cried at the End because the Story was over and i had me Life back… this was the 1st Game in a long time that had that emotional Impact. The Other One was Metal Gear Solid 3: Guns of the Patriots. Cheers…

  11. Complete disappointment in CDPR, I thought they were one of the good guys. Also, never, ever trust a game that has a "roadmap," it's all B.S. to keep you on the hook with their broken, unfinished game. Some of those bugs were hilarious! Love your videos, keep up the good work.

I disagree completely. I find it an incredibly at best mediocre shooter with shallow RPG mechanics, horrible driving, and a world that looks pretty but is about as fun to explore as a fun house with the paint chipping off.
