Reminds me of the city's from the 'paranoia' tabelop game. (Along with the one from the movie 'Logan's Run') Also, doesn't Maximum Mike on the radio mention that there are rumours of handfull of the teens that survived the Carbon Plague, sounds like maybe one or two of them got adopted by these guys (probably a Wizard or Alchemist) they sure would be an amazing asset to these Technomancers.
Interesting. I never did get to finish that quest with that guy near Misty's shop. Usually avoid it too since you have to go through some steps to get it done. Knew nothing about this. Cyberpunk lore is pretty deep.
The game keeps showing me this guy on the map as a gig place, but aside from donating to him I can never do more. Makes me wonder if there is a way to get more out of him.
The dlc better be amazing better than the main story since they’re going to release only one expansion for this game they better go all out as shown all efforts rn are going to this dlc
Techno necromancers forced him to quit streaming on cybertwitch, so he can reveal the government secrets. With a generous donation, you can buy him a day or two.

Wait, isn't it a reference to the end of William Gibson's Neuromancer?
Anyway, great video. I didn't know of this part of the lore!
that smile ….. i would keep children away from him
technomancers ….. the only hope for V in nomad ending
i really wished for technomancers to make appearance in 2077
techmasters with custom made vehicles and special engines …….. you just had to tempt me
I never finished his quest line it kinda took to long for me to do.
Yes I am lazy.
the connection between him, Maelstrom, possibly NightCorp and these technomancers was all i could think about after completing his questline
lack of good news is getting depressing

Well, it certainly wasn't the Spanish Inquisition …
Techno-necromancer ? They have those in Shadowrun, Cyberzombies can wipe out entire shadowrunner parties
