This video features 1 hour of soundtrack from your talk with Takemura during the mission Gimme Danger, Hanako and Yorinobu by Paul Leonard-Morgan. Thereโ€™s also an ambient piece of soundtrack cut in there to add to add some diversity to the sound, which is taken from the Corpo lifepath introduction in Jenkinsโ€™ office.

Use this ambient soundtrack video as some music to aid your focus while you study, inspiration to help you immerse in a scene for writing or art, some background audio to help you sleep โ€“ or just sit back, watch, and relax.

  1. Good and insane man at once who is addicted to empire of evil because he is convinced that he has to pay his debt. You don't have any debt to pay, you just had bad luck that Arasaka pulled you in this corrupted world.

  2. Perfect for walking streets with only streetlamps light, a yellow light slowly emerging to your point of view… It's a shame we can't walk on reddish ground (yet!) and ride in sandstorms.

  3. Why Takemura will never leave Arasaka? Japanese society is basically built on a complex system of mutual and hierarchical obligations "gimu" and "giri". Not so much in modern days, but it was a fundamental thing for Japanese mentality back days. Fulfilling the obligations was also connected to keeping own honor and "having a good face" – those things were way more important than personal desires (to the point, that is really hard to understand for western people). So if you think about Takemura as an embodiment of Corpo-samurai or even salaryman trope, then being an individualist is way too abstract for him. He is proud, that he gains his position through hard work, that's why he disrespects your way of making money (being a thief). His position proves his value in the eyes of his society and his own. Also, he is very close to the Arasaka family, and it's a huge ennoblement, but still, not a family member. He has some sort of power but at the same time, he has to obey the greater than himself. In my opinion, the thing that he was born in the lowest class and he is aware of his origin makes him able to some sort of critical thinking about Arasakas (you can find some glimpses of that here or there in the dialogues) but nonetheless, this is a lifestyle that was, both, chosen by him and for him and there is no possibility for him to leave this world (and he is aware of that). The tension between V and Takemura is actually a tension between two mindsets: thinking about yourself as an individual and thinking about yourself as a part of something bigger than you. Also, Night City is just a random city for him. He doesn't like being here. He is "homesick" and misses Japan. And last but not least – if someone thinks that Arasaka will just allow him to leave, knowing that he was so close to so many family secrets, must be naive ๐Ÿ˜‰ And Takemura knows that too.

  4. This game always ends up just being a Get Goro Takemura Home Simulator for me lol. I wish we had more missions with him. I don't feel like it's blind loyalty to want to go back home and to stay with traditions. For someone who's family fought hard to keep theirs irl (NDN) I feel like I align a lot with him and his beliefs more than Johnny Silverhands. I see Johnny as a rebel in a sea of many just trying to survive but Goro actually has honor which is a very rebel thing to have in the corpo world. A small light that to me should be supported more than johnnys want for people to feel what he feels. They're both right but too extreme in their beliefs until the end of the game when they both change slightly if you work towards that.

  5. This is how CP perfectly operates with music, atmosphere, environment… You sit on a top of constructed skyscraper – far from everything, you listen to story of a man grown in gutters. The world is a mess… And then – THE music!. Masterpiece!

  6. I love this track so much. Easily Goro's best scene in the entire game. You get to understand him a little bit better. You can almost understand how someone could see the corporations like Arasaka as an actual force for good, instead of all-powerful oligarchs that exploit the entire planet for profit, by force.

  7. Forget Johnny Silverhand, the real samurai gone rogue is Takemura. If you chose to trust Takemura, you chose right. It's just unfortunate that you can't convince him to join you in leaving Night City for good. He knows no matter what, Arasaka will find him and end his life because he was a traitor to the family and the corpo system.

  8. Do you think you could get that one ambient theme when youโ€™re exploring idk how it goes but it sounds like a combat theme but isnโ€™t hard to describe

  9. CDPR did him dirty right in the Arasaka end when, after everything we've done together, he goes "yeah, you won't be considered a person, have no rights and be at the mercy of Arasaka, so definetly sign here" wtf? He was one of the most interesting characters, a different perspective (the one the game radically opposes), an outsider left on his own, righteous intentions applied on the wrong path… but in the end is just "no, I can't leave" and what I said above, imo his dialogs could have fleshed out a bit more both perspectives. Being able to flirt a bit but not being a romance option is just the cherry on top.

  10. "Arasaka gave me what nobody could, "values" to live, die for. THIS was most important."

As much as I personally hated Arasaka corp, this made me see Takemura in a bit different light..
