Do you realize that you have target FPS set to 60 in the game settings?
Also, there is a performance test available from within the game settings, which makes it a bit easier to judge the effect of tweaked options.

I played through the complete game on the Deck – was a great experience! Mostly in 40hz mode but also 30fps limit is fine for cruising around the city. For combat 40hz is much smoother. But you can switch on the fly every time you need it.
Bout to buy it 🤷♂️ on sale for 30 bucks
Just said f it and picked it up while on sale at steam. I should have my email Thursday for purchase and have accumulated around 20 games this month alone in preparation for my unit. I can not wait. It's a shame they botched their launch the way they did. This game looks great now and seems well worth it. I can't wait.
What resolution does it run at? Sub 800p?
