  1. That's still an insane amount of sales in such a short amount of time. Definitely could've been significantly higher without the launch issues.

  2. I have confidence that the devs will fix up the game. This isn't the first time this has happened with a large game release, and it currently won't be the last. Honestly I hope things will get better with CDPR. Their leadership needs to learn from this mess.

  3. They should get down on their knees and sincerely thank all those who bought the game and haven't asked for a refund. Investors will eventually see gain imo, but CDPR needs to get a handle on their bad publicity and start making better decisions based on their consumers voices. They need to take those who are going to forums with bugs and issues, seriously. I'm glad they fixed the save file bug, keep up the support. If they play their cards right, by the time they're ready to release new DLC they might get a portion of confidence back in their company and see some of the capital gains they were originally projecting for the release. But it's going to be a long road.

  4. I stopped looting junk eventually because hacking a single terminal gives you more money than looting 100 junk items. So I limited my looting anyway, notwithstanding the fix for corrupt file saves. Now I only loot less common junk such as sex toys, cards with different designs from the usual black and purple one, and of course the expensive $750 junk items found on gangsters.

  5. What has been cut out:

    – cut out the horizontal parkour.

    – cut out a detailed selection of v's backstory.

    – car customization has been cut out.

    – cut out the customization of apartments.

    – the reputation system is cut out, some neutered version is left, which does nothing at all in the game.

    – all public transport has been cut out.

    – cut out all cutscenes from the 3rd person shown in the demo of the 18th year.

    – you can't change your hair. Apparently, in the world of the future, barbers are extinct. EVEN IN FALLOUT 4, IT'S POSSIBLE, CMON!

    – You can not do tattoos, only on the character creation screen at the beginning of the game.

–You Can't preview the clothes you want to buy. this Could be done even in san andreas. But Not In cyberpunk.

–it was promised that almost every building can be entered. as a result, you can hardly go anywhere at all.

    – cut OUT All RPGS in general. This Is Not a game, This is fallout 4, with its Endless "Quests". The main character is constantly called by some random NPCs with the same phrase ala " YOU DON'T KNOW ME, BUT I KNOW YOU. GO INTO THAT BUILDING OVER THERE, KILL EVERYONE!" AND THAT'S THE WHOLE GAME IN THE OPEN WORLD! In 2020! FUCK!!!

    – enemies constantly shoot through walls. Add to this more enemies like "netrunner", which force you to run like a fool to the enemies in the face. On the max. difficulty every gunfight turns into a circus.

    – Balance of weapons and shootouts here straight from Destiny 2 –

    – Car drivers AI doesnt exists at all. They Do not react to shooting, never go around obstacles. They Don't do anything at all, just go to waypoints.

"the police system is just shit.

    – driving physics is shit.

    – interface is shit.

    – Enemy AI is shit.

    – Your choises don't affect anything.

It's objectively not a good game with the hindsight of what it was advertised as and how much content is missing.

  6. You know what really grinds my gears? Whenever cyberpunk show off their sales as if it’s some kind of achievement but really it’s just saying “Hey look what our lies and marketing managed to sell”. Just for that alone CDPR execs deserve to all be fired.

  7. Corporat investors and Blombergs' are all alike, this has little to do with unsat early game experiences or promotion strategies, just a few financial guy trynna make some quick money outta stock market, not forgetting to besmirch afterwards

  8. I just got Cyberpunk yesterday for Christmas, I thought it was going to be complete dogshit and buggy as hell, so I was planning on getting it. However, my parents got it for me as a surprise, I was very hesitant about it, but I downloaded to see for myself. (I have a PS4 btw)

I am very amazed at CD Projeckt Red for taking initiative through fixing the game because it looked, played, sounded amazing and there was no problems whatsoever. I am really glad I can finally play it on last gen systems thanks to CD Projeckt Red’s hard work and determination.

  9. In our country, refund for physical copies are not possible since the stores reject them. The same case might be on other countries. So the should've been a refund from them are counted as sales

  10. Beside bugs, and lacking content like the police is 100% broken etc. I loved the story, the narrative was just as I expected top notch! unfortunately the bugs and unfinished gameplay parts made it hard to get through without constantly noticing the missing features. That being said, if they add the missing content and fix the bugs, it's a game that could live as long as the GTA series.

  11. If the game were to be delayed again, you're here going to make a meme video about it too -and kids will complain some more saying "the game is dead even before it lauched"

How does that saying go again? Hindsight is…?

  12. So in 2 weeks they've sold as many copies of a broken game as Nintendo sold Wii U consoles to date and it's a " disappointment". This completely explains why it releases when it did and why in the end none of this will matter and nothing will change. Why should EA and the rest change when pushing half done crap sets records?

  13. To put things in perspective:
    – Cyberpunk has sold 13 million copies after refunds in this month alone.
    – The entire Metroid franchise, across all 15 of its titles ranging from 1986 to 2017, has sold about 18.17 million units.
Cyberpunk, in less than a month, has made about 71.55% of the units sold for the entire Metroid franchise, and investors and analysts were still disappointed. I know it's about expectations, and if any game could make all of the money, it would have been Cyberpunk, but that's still incredible to see that reaction.

  14. I think its a lie. This game is bad and i think maybe they sold 1.3 milion but not 13. You know, companies are lying. Next time after another 'big' aaa game they Will write that 30 milion copies are sold. And next time that 50, 60, 100. You Just cant belive them.

  15. Thriller remains the best-selling album of all time, with sales of 66 million copies worldwide. It came out nearly 40 years ago CP 2077 has sold a quarter of that in 2 weeks. Those investors need to chill the fuck out ffs
