Xbox, Ubisoft, Capcom, indies, and even Geoff Keighley have been dropping the heat when it comes to game trailers over the past few days. There’s been plenty of awesome reveals from the Xbox Showcase and Summer Game Fest but the biggest surprise for Evan wasn’t actually a flashy new trailer or even really visible at either show. Check today’s video to see what’s up.

  2. So the major work still being done to Cyberpunk 2077 was probably the biggest surprise for me that trickled out of all the shows but shout out your favorite surprise or trailer in the comments below. I am curious about what everyone liked the most!

  3. I played around 50 hours of cyberpunk at launch. And i cant say i hated it, it was okay even if it was tainted by what it could have been. Ive waited and kept my eye on it and have been pleasantly surprised by each update and the news saying the game is improving. But it seems after the expansion the game will finally be in a place where i will return to Night City and play the game i knew and wanted Cyberpunk to be

  4. The week belongs to XBOX. A bunch of games surprised me the most, but Starfield takes the icing on the cake. I gave the showcase an A+. As far as the others are concerned: Mid.

Summer Games Fest did kill E3, unfortunately, it is still not a predecessor to E3, it’s Gamescom, PAX, and TGS. There were little surprises but nothing new. Only the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth announcement was awesome. It was an above average show, but I could care less about SGF unless Keighley proves me wrong and give us a good show without being an ego-stroking hype artist. The biggest losers were Playstation and Capcom. Ubisoft was fine, but unless if you can get rid of the cringe dancing from another Just Dance game, this would’ve been a decent conference. Just Dance. Can’t this franchise die already? Star Wars: Outlaws is definitely worth checking out, we have new gameplay. I still don’t trust Ubisoft because they can piss off gamers whenever they feel like adding greedy microtransactions. The new Avatar game looks promising, but will it be any good than the PS3/XBOX 360 version of Avatar? I give Ubisoft a B.

  5. It's been pretty refreshing to hear all the positive impressions of people who got to play and see the new CP2077 expansion. I was like everyone else, eagerly awaiting for that game's release since its announcement in 2013. It looked like everything I wanted in a game like this, and when I finally got my hands on it, I only put a few hours in it. It just felt hollow and I was really sad about how much was missing. I mean, you couldn't even ride the trains around Night City, something featured prominently in the trailer, something that adds a lot of immersion, and something that's so common in a bunch of open world games that are similar. I'm impressed by all the work CDPR is putting into their game, though. I'm glad they stuck with it, but I do hope they surprise us by adding more immersive features. I guess I really wanna ride those trains, dude.

Aside from that, I enjoyed a lot of the trailers and announcements from the multiple showcases. Really looking forward to Star Wars Outlaws, Toxic Commando, and Squirrel With A Gun, among a bunch of other interesting looking games. Also, a lot more interested in Starfield, after their showcase.

  6. I often find myself comparing the launch of this game to the launch of no Man's sky and while they were similar in how poorly it launched and the public outlash to it and then eventually it being fixed and a resurgence of players I can't help but think how CD project red really screwed the pooch on this one. This is not the first game they've ever made this is not the first massive game they've ever made The Witcher 3 was huge and they delivered really well on that game. It is wild to me that they essentially rushed this game out just to try and meet sales predictions. I'm so tired of broken games launching

  7. Just wish that it wasn't "we'll fix everything finally… But you have to buy an expansion for a lot of the good stuff". And it being locked to latest consoles despite originally being targeted for last gen is weak.

  9. Cyberpunk is pretty cool & all, especially since I got play it on PS4 (I also got the game for free, the only reason why I even played it) at like 20 frames but I already got my Platinum trophy so there's no real way I'm playing it again until I play it on a $10,000 PC lol
