I hear you want to chip a sandy? You’ve come to the right place choom. Let’s talk about Sandevistan in Cyberpunk 2077 – Also If you didn’t punch Fingers’ lights out, go for the Qiant Sandevistan mk.4, otherwise it’s a toss-up between the QianT Mk.5 and my favourite the Militech Falcon

  1. This was a great explanation. I had no idea the Sandevistan (or the Berserker) replaced the Cyber Deck and provided that functionality. I think it might be time to create a new character around that play style. Could be fun for a gunslinger build on top of your typical street samurai.

  2. For PC players watching this do yourselves a solid and install Time Dilation Overhaul mod from nexusmods. And its requirements, I know it seems like a lot of work but it allows NPCs with speedware to enter time dilation with you exactly as it happens in the show. Also allows usage when driving via a cyber modification, again like in the show (you might want to install Vehicle Combat mod to make it make sense to use).

  3. I won't lie, hacking to me isn't really the entire face of cyberpunks. It's the metal you shove and the gun you fuck people up with. Hacking I'll keep exclusive to mixed mercenaries or dedicated technomancers.

Honestly if there's a big face for a standard cyberpunk would be? It would be someone with a berserk chip just because it feels that basic and rudimentary for a normal run of the mill cyberpunk

  4. I have strange feeling, that many ppl run always with cyberdeck 'cause it's easy mode (lowering resistances with casual hack, distance tactical and damaging hacks, disabling cams etc.) I've loved Sandevistan from my 2nd playthrough, when I went 3 int. It was new kind of gameplay (especially when wanted to stay unseen, and at the time there were no opti camo). With good Sandy's use, you can score 10-15 kills in 15 seconds.
My recommendation is QianT Sandevistan (15 reflex), 25% slow time for 12 sec with 15 sec cd.

Same was with berserk and build of 20 str/cool, 18 tech for craft, what's left to reflex. 1,5k hp and healing, melee damage went through roof, nearly no recoil with guns and no acc penalty on moving and cold blood max buff. Totally juggernauted everyone and everything.
    My recommendation is:
For melee, Militech MK.5 (18 body): recoil and sway -15%, melee dmg +15%, armor and resists +10%, +40% total hp and stamina, 5% hp restore on kill. 1 min duration, 1 min cd. Can be replaced with Zetatech MK.5 (no hp and stam boost, little bigger buffs, 30 sec duration, 30 sec cd).

For ranged, Biodyne MK.4 (15 body): recoil and sway -25%, melee dmg, armor and resist +5%, ranged dmg +20%, 4% hp restore on kill, 30 sec duration, 1 min cd.

With good cyberware, cd can be shortened and duration extended.

  5. Thanks for this.

I've been considering a new build playthrough, going for with the Sande rather than a high-end hacking style, and this just clinched it. Between the Reflex and Cool trees, with a Sande and some cyberware mods to extend the time and decrease cooldowns, they literally won't know what hit them. 😉

Do you have any insight on the Berserk? Is it simply the power version without the time dilation, or is there more to it? Might it be something you're planning for a later vid…?

    As always, well done Tez.

  6. The "good" thing about this game is that all possible build routes you take is OP, sandy, berserk, netrunner, everything gets decimated, so you don't feel like you're missing a meta.

A bit of a bummer tho because the game is TOO EASY, i wish they balanced everything more so that when you get to the end game there's still a challenge for you to tackle, i played through this game countless times already with various builds and once you reach a certain point enemies just become a slight nuisance, no challenge whatsoever.

  7. Nah, the QianT mk 4 is the way to go as someone else already said. Three legendary heat sinks, Bioconductor, Kerenzikov, and you'll literally be living in time dilation permanently. You don't even really need the Kerenzikov since the cooldown on QianT is sub 2 seconds with this setup.

With all the attention Sandevistan has been getting since Edgerunners dropped, I'm honestly expecting CDPR to nerf it and kill the insane cooldown my build has considering they've nerfed more than they've buffed. I'm gonna be hella pissed if they're all of a sudden like "nah, we don't want you to have that". It's a single player game, let us play how we like. I've been using this build for maybe 9 months now and yeah, won't be happy if it's neutered. Even right now it's not as powerful as it used to be, I can still get 2-3 shot killed if I'm not playing smart on vhard.

And to all the try hards that complain it's too easy… just put in a higher difficulty above very hard? Nope, let's just "balance" stuff that doesn't need it to make it more difficult. I don't know about the rest of the players, but I play games for fun, not to be frustrated. And a lot of what CDPR's done has been pretty frustrating.

  8. Great video! Sandevistan turns any Reflex (Blades, Handguns, Rifle/SMG) build into an OP monster! Berserk is for Brawlers and (machine)Gunners and Cyberdeck is for Netrunners and other builds that are not maxing Reflex or Body. The GREATEST THING about Cyberpunk 2077 is the endless combinations of PLAYSTYLES. The Hacking playstyle makes it more 'puzzle and timing' oriented, the Reflex playstyle makes handguns and blades, all in your face fun, as does Body for Brawling and Bashing like an Animal and rocking the massive leadspitters (seriously… try Legendary Berserk with your fave Light Machine Gun…) wall-of-bullets build, and all the Athletics perks that turn you into a bullet sponge. Cool – and Ninjutsu – is there for the peeps that want to play the game as a stealth game, Technical Ability and Crafting and Engineering are there for the 'Demolition Artists" and "Tech Snipers" and "Collectors" – if you are min/maxing you can go 20-20-20-8-3, or jack of all trades (JOAT) builds can do 15-14-14-14-14, or Specialist at 20-13-13-13-12, or Multi-Specialist at 20-20-11-10-10 or something like a 20-18-16-14-3… you just can't be 20 at everything… I love using Sando with Handguns (just like Edgerunners intro).

  9. I thought when I first installed cyber ware that it would show physically on the body like the Sandevistan. Also it’s been since the release date and the mantis blades still look fucked in-game with animations and photo mode.

  10. I have 300 hours in this game and a few characters and never used anything by the deck. Even on my katana user I liked sneaking around and being able to turn off cams was nice. Or jack into a cam and use it to move to other cams and tag everyone or even just ping them so i knew where everyone was going in.

  11. Adam Smasher in the anime was correct…Sandevistan is a basic implant for a solo-type cyberpunk. EVERYONE in cyberpunk 2020 (pen and paper) got one…unless they went for the Kerenzikov, which had a lower buff but was ALWAYS on. the joke about 2077 is that thanks to all the crap that wend down in the intervening decades, tech didn't move forward so much as stall and become harder to get at ALL. That being said, i never much cared for how they changed netrunning and cyberdecks from 2020 to Cyberpunk red/cyberpunk 2077….took all the fun out of it..and making it so it was either/or in the computer game was annoying.

  12. Sandevistan is cool and all but I prefer Berserk with legendary Kerenzinkov. With 20 body and 20 reflex I can also have 30% cyberware cooldowns and use legendary Kerenzikov. Now I can have a huge health/stamina/armor/dmg boost (at a duration of 75 seconds and only 45 sec or so cooldown with legendary extended berserk mods) while also still being able to use Kerenzikov for 5.5 seconds with a cooldown of only 3 or so seconds. Almost being like a low tier Sandevistan I can use over and over with a very short cool down while also being greatly buffed by Berserk at the same time.

  13. Something else to note about using the Sandevistan with a melee build is that the mantis blades aren't actually that great with it. The animations eat a good chunk of your valuable bullet time, so it might be better to switch to a melee weapon like a katana instead.
