Cyberpunk 2077: Review Gameplay (No Spoilers, No Commentary)

There’s been a ton of talk about what the real state of Cyberpunk 2077 is right now. So here’s a chance to see all of it.

I’ve had access to a couple of review builds of the game over the past week on PC. Through that, you’ll see various bugs and glitches that I encountered throughout 40 hours of gameplay.

The footage is COMPLETELY spoiler free. There’s a section from the opening prologue that you’ll know from one of the original deep-dive videos — this should give everyone a useful comparison against the original footage.

There’s also lots of free-roam gameplay and some combat to give you a sense of how that pans out in an unplanned, natural context. You’ll see a section from a mission that’s dark AF — that’s what it was like to play, too. Even with ray tracing. (If anything, I think ray tracing made that section even harder to see without HDR.)

PC settings, motorbike riding (latest build): 0:00
Badlands mission (latest build): 5:21
Random early glitches (from original review build): 11:51
Early chapter gameplay and emergent gang fights (from original review build): 13:15
Emergent hacking, inventory, perks system (from original review build): 16:05
Johnny Silverhand gameplay (NO SPOILERS): 23:21
Loading screen, driving to Jig-Jig Street (original review build): 31:55
First mission, same gameplay as the OG Cyberpunk 2077 trailer (original review build): 40:27
Photo mode: 54:32
