The main thing I use rope for is a safety when jumping off of high places. It's pretty much habit at this point – as seen in the demo video 🙂
Good to see ggd nodding community digging into this game.
I feel like the grappling hook mod just kind of disincentives players to look for alternate routes and flank points in the level design since you can just grapple onto a vantage point so easily. Wall hanging would be cool to see in the actual game though, but I don’t see that much of a use for it since most walls in this game are just covered with a lot of aesthetic design and ledges.
