  1. I'm not buying this game a third time. I unfortunately bought it on Pc when it came out; didn't have a pc fast enough to run it and the only Xbox I could get during the pandemic was the One X from 2017; I had to upgrade my box just to play cyberpunk and now they want me to buy it AGAIN.. On a new console… 'because it can't handle the graphics blah blah same crap we hear until modders later proved they lied thru their teeth. It could have ran on earlier systems they just wanted to pump you for cash. I still have my PC from GOG and Xbox One version. Bastards owe me some DLC.. I paid for a game that didn't work. Twice now.

  2. Never played the game before a few days ago ( bought i on steam ) and it's enjoyable. But the amount of bugs still in the game is a joke. Easy things like hopping on a bike or looting boxes can be a drag, hit registration is horrible and so on and so on. But once you get used to those bugs it's ok to play. But it makes me wonder how the state of the game was before the update.

  3. does this update fix the sh*t main story?, or did it just add a good story exp and leave the base game still sh*t, if so… I have not played Liberty, I'm not sure I want to pay for this exp. I'm tired of being burned by hype and shills

  4. People need to get over the bad release, the game was great on PC it was just horrid on older consoles. I still enjoyed it on PS5 even crashing every 30 mins. But damn it's amazing now and I cant put it down, if you cant get over the initial release it's your loss.

  5. Cyberpunk is the Weekend At Bernie's of video games. Can't believe CDPR, let alone players, are still parading this corpse around and acting like everything's fine. This update should never have happened. People should have received their refund and washed their hands of the game in 2020, then never gave CDPR a dime ever again.

  6. Well, who would have imagined that more time spent bug fixing would make the game better? This is both good and bad news. Good because it shows CDPR still wants to deliver, but bad because it sets a terrible precedent for companies at large. The silver line is, there are plenty of games that "release" on "early access", which is basically what happened to Cyberpunk 2077. If game companies were honest about it, I could see it being a little more accepted by the playerbase, but I really wouldn't expect that level of patience from a group of people that only cares about quarterly metrics and quick financial returns.

  7. Its still far from what we were promised. However i love cyberpunk as a genre and im happy as a clam that we now have a superb cyberpunk game to play. Even if some features they promised will never be coming

  8. Njet, choom!
It's a lot closer to what they originally promised, I give you that, but it's still not fully there! The main story is just as bad as it always was, no truly diverging paths, not many decisions truly matter, the city itself is not "alive" and doesn't react to the player much (it certainly doesn't change)…so yeah, it's not a true redemption! I mean I applaud them for even putting in this much effort, but until they make another Witcher 3 like game, they are off my pre-order list (only Larian Studios is still on that list currently!), which is a sad state of affairs as I once had a rather long list of companies were I was willing to pre-order! Obsidian was on that list (till Outer Worlds – or as I call it: Outer Fail!), Bioware was on there (till Mass Effect 3 – which I hate with a passion, not only the ending, the whole game!), Badthesda was there, too but their games aren't great anymore…so yeah, sad state of affairs!

  9. Bough and refunded on release – mainly because of how braindead the combat was and how everything was just ARPG multiplicative % scaling BS. There were no combat systems to master, just artificial % dmg increases with dumb standing targets that did nothing other than poke at you with a 1 dmg/minute stick, while you are flying around and IK everything in seconds…

Is the gameplay still this braindead eye candy or are there mechanics to actually learn and master? You know, if it has an actual GAMEPLAY, or is it just yet another interactive movie with meaningless numbers flying around that paint the lie of how "powerful" you are?

  10. After playing the new Cyberpunk DLC I feel scammed out of my time. There’s no I win over the corpos ending after so much time playing V fuck these assholes. This is the same reason I refused to watch Edgerunners.

  11. So the whole time i thought the game had car customization feature as they promised, only to find out they still didn't and you cant kill kids even if that means 5 star gta rating by default. Even though its 2.0, its still short of what they said they would deliver. But as a first and last iteration of this game its definitely worth 30 bucks.

  12. The game is still full of bugs and glitches. I get T poses and hud elements that don't work until a restart is performed.
    CDPR are useless.

Besides that it's just janky as hell to play (this is subjective but i stand by it).

  13. I can forgive the NMS devs because they were a small team and it seems like they were pressured by Sony and media attention to release the game in the state it was in, and they have been updating ever since with free content.

AAA studios are abusing the positivity that NMS received after it was fixed. CDPR is not a small indie company, they are one of the larger media companies in their country. They didn't have a publisher breathing down their necks, they are the publisher.

You wanna release a broken product and maybe fix it later? Fine, I'll pirate it and maybe pay for it later… (I won't)

  14. Might be a difficult setting thing but I played a tech/reflex based flying, epxloding ninja woman and since I upgraded my electro Katana, I´ve never found a match again. lol
Still very nice rework of the system. However the whole clothes vs armor implants change confused the hell outta me, especially since every time I found some shiny orange thing, it either was an upgrade component or clothing.

I do appreciate the update, though I think we all can agree this is what should have been released in the first place.

  15. I appreciate CDPR for not only redeeming themselves but their project as well. Most gaming companies wouldn’t even go this far. They’ll add a few patches and abandon the game.

CDPR did more than just patches. They completely revamped the entire game and added new content. Gaming companies these days should take notes.
