  1. Thanks for making the video for the PS5. I got it on the PS5 for the dual sense features; however, I have noticed that the image looks a bit soft and shimmy in the performance mode. Do the visuals look better on the Series X version?

  2. I don't have a PS5 (so I can't judge the haptics or adaptive triggers) but I did have a PS4 which had a speaker in the dualshock controller. I agree with this video: it was the most annoying, irritating thing I always turned off in every game I could.

It's gimmicky like having a toy in my hand. I hated it. I don't get why some people even like this sort of feature.

  3. From what I'm seeing here the city still looks pretty dead and unresponsive when shit happens. Yeah regular people are running when shots are fired but it looks like they forget anything ever happened 10sec later…

  4. I'm so glad to have held out on this game after it's horrible launch, and that I got it on sale earlier this year at a cheap price. I'll finally be able to experience the game CDPR promised us after 10 years

  5. Well playing it again now i own it on two platforms, ps5 and a 4090 laptop for on the go. So far:
    Ps5:

Update today: ps5 full screen freeze crash. Reboot.

The fight dummy in the vr training T posed.

The npc collision detection still dodgy, npc's walk through npc's.

I found an npc on some stairs in mid air i could walk under his feet.

    Pop up is everywhere.

Ray tracing is set up for dlss 3.5 and pathtracing, yes its rt, but it looks absoultely terrible and is sub 30fps on ps5.

The performance mode is stable enough so far and way better than rt mode. Nothing game breaking.

    Motion blur is terrible.
    Film grain is terrible.
Many low res textures on non major items. (However this is nit picking and unfair to console).

I waited three years just to get it to a playable state.

The pc version on dlss 3.5 however is insane. The problem ps5 has got, is just after the hardware released, dlss happened, and is probably the biggest performance upgrade and framerate upgrade in years, and its only getting better.

cyberpunk on ps5 has just shown how far behind ps5 is already. If dlss and rt generation didnt exist, i would not have noticed. Its the biggest gap between pc and console i have seen in 10 years. The problem is, gap is huge now, and ps5 is only in its 4th year.

I think i want a ps5 pro now, its needed just to keep up. It 100 percent will have a sony or amd version of dlss.

Switch 2 definately will as they have nvidia mobile chips.

Lets put it this way, on my 4090 cyberpunk native is running around 60fps. Dlss and frame generation with full ultra and psycho rt switched on, im getting over 150fps.

Watch out for switch 2. It's going to close the gap purely because of dlss.

  6. I loved Cyberpunk from the start. On PS4 Pro it was unplayable so I waited few more weeks to play it after I got a PS5 for 60fps and boy was that a ride. Time to play again, can't wait to start over with Phantom Liberty!

  7. I've been blown away from the ps5 version of version 2.0, the hdr is top notch now and there are some serious improvements of lighting and shadow effects in 60 fps mode, this game is stunning. The city also feels way more alive 🙂 I actually prefer the console version over pc and i have a RTX 4070.

  8. It's baffling in this day and age of modern gaming where a developer makes it a big deal that they have a police/law feature when 20 years ago it's normal and expected even today with other developer like rockstar, it's like hey we are making an RPG game and it has the most epic feature "inventory". Where it should be expected or it's like making a racing game and the developer promoting that their game has cars in it! of course it should be expected because its a racing game. Same with cyberpunk 2077 police feature should be expected on day one.
