Wow, this roleplaying game which is trying to be realistic as possible is sticking to real life scenarios, so people who are gay won't like a person who they aren't interested in flirting with them 24/7. How dare they. I mean just the audacity.
Without the sass, the Twitter shit is obviously dumb but the fact that you can't romance certain characters because of your gender is quite smart since its an RPG which is highly based on reality, even in the tabletop version. So you know, if i got over not being able to romance Kerry as female V, we can get over everyone else as well…

See, where I think people are getting confused with this Judy reveal, is that it’s not a ‘male V romance’ it’s a ‘masculine voiced V romance’ as both River and Panam can be romanced by a V’s whose voice isn’t the same as their bodytype. River will happy date V as long as they have the feminine body type, whilst their voice and genitals don’t matter, and it makes sense that this was the same for Judy and Kerry at an earlier point too and thus they recorded the masculine voicelines for the entirety of the Judy romance, before deciding that the two homosexual love interests required the matching bodytype and voice.

I remember they hinted 30 to 50 romance options all different sexualties. They said you could hssve one night stands or full relationships. One of the developers posted something along the lines I hope you v isn't involved with lots of partners tydd image showed s board of strings connected to each other. I'm disappointed imagine the possbilties maybe a full borg Gemini prototype romance would have been cool.

Firstly they are just fictional characters so who gives a FK, should see the nexus if they want real controversy. Anyway.
TBH I felt the Male V x judy interactions feel kinda bland and as if there should be more. Idk just feels more complete with the romance mod. Would've been fine with being best friends, or a pseudo-little-sister thing. In my first playthrough I thought like at least give her a damn hug or something already, albeit being non-flirty knowing shes gay. But welp, that's just me I guess.
Cyberpunk probably thought guys let's be more inclusive, and cut most of the good parts.

CDPR has said that Judy was intended from the beginning to be a lesbian. There was no confusion on that? So why is that confusing for anyone to understand. The dialogue was recorded in both male and female just in case they needed it for the entire game.

(Failed arasaka aka solo raid) Judy’s voicemail to male V is like someone who just lost a life partner. Have yet to see Panams voicemail to female V after the same ending.

Well yeah I also wanted Panam romance with female V so yeah i totally understand the hate for this. Game needed WAYY more options for both female and male V in terms of same sex relationships.

I think it's a shame whenever games genderlock romance options. Players grow fond of various characters. Does it really hurt the game if they can pursue it? Why not a gay River/Panum or a straight Kerry?

i WISH they also discovered that Panam is romanceable by female V !!! It's the same kind of baiting that happens with all romance options. If you're female V and it seems to be going well with Panam until she suddenly shuts you down. same with River and male V. but i ahve to think, that they last minute added kerry as a romance option and removed judy from male V options… Kerry is so unbelievably showed in last minute that many players including myself, completely missed his story line. they shouldve made them all bisexual

The reason why the male actors recorded the lines is because the voice can be changed to male/female during character creation. Notice how the scene when done during the mod with male v doesn’t really change anything. I don’t think this was ever intended to be for male v playthroughs at all, hence the same cutscene with no changes. This whole thing can be said regarding panam, female v actor recorded lines, probably can activate panam for female v romance with a mod.
