WOW, im flushing my old save and starting over then….these new changes are insane
hype!
I’ve played this an obsessive like 15 times through. I got a character through half the storyline and maxed out stats n anticipation for the DLC, but it sounds like I’ll be starting over to enjoy all the changes.
Also, hard to earn money? I can’t find enough places to sell all the gear I pick up. And that’s without crafting.
Great video Kate. I started a Cyberpunk playthrough just a couple of weeks ago before all this was announced. Now I'm debating whether I should just wait for these updates, they sound amazing! I had already put off my full playthrough shortly after launch, deciding to wait until they fixed most of the issues, but I'm only getting back to it now. Might be worth the wait from the sounds of it.
The cybernetics mechanic will be really fun and ad to the overall immersion of the world. Sounds like the game will finally be closer than ever before of the original promises of the game! So glad i resisted getting it before all of this!
In addition kate if you preorder the dlc you will get an early unlock of the car that comes in the new dlc and also if you link the cdpr rewards in game to this dlc, witcher 3, and gwent you will also get a bunch of freebies

1.7 is a mystery wrapped in a non-disclosure agreement, there are still so many things I wanna know >o<
I think are old saves will be fine I don't see cdpr really doing new game plus or letting us fully rest builds I think they just going to call resting perk points a rest when it's not butt cdpr dnt understand that or care plus I don't see doing a new character because we don't konw what part of the story phantom liberty fits in at or when it takes place or do get thew right into it or do we go somewhere because if they rest perk points going to need time to redo everything I really hope they dnt rest perk points and update are old saves to the new system butt remember cdpr is lazy so and sroy to say butt I don't see update 1.70 comeing intell the moth of intell the .moth of the dlc or maybe a moth before and I dnt see any news on when intell a moth before I might be worg hopefully they drop update news next month

The system req look soo unoptimized, they no demand high end system from 2022-3 just to run the game in 1080p.
I agree that "looking the part" is important when it comes to NC and players but you still can't see your character..
Definitely gonna replay the whole game for this. I feel like just experiencing it all in just the dlc would be short lived for me.
Also this is a really good step in the right direction for a future cyberpunk game however far away. All those new additions and cyber psychosis are things that will no doubt be even better if made from the beginning in a sequel.
More money? What are people doing to not have enough money? I'm using mods to decrease loot and drastically increase vendor prices and I still never run out of money.

People have been asking about new romances in this expansion. I just want to see the current
romances loose ends tied up. We all were left with a cliffhanger after V and Judy / Panam left Night City.
We know Judy and V didn't stay with the Nomads but left the clan. If you chose the leaving Night City
ending. In the video calls they speak about V not in a past tense but V being alive. Also the tarot
card reading Misty gives V during the video call it sounds like there is a happy ending with Judy / Panam and V.
I just wonder if the background choice going to make the gameplay experience different or its still merc V only with a little bit different 5 min corridor run at the begining and ocassionally an extra meaningles saying choice.
I would love if they introduced a bounty system that can work against you as V, when your character upsets various gangs, Corpos, etc, and V can end up being a hunted person in Night City with a bounty on their head. Always found it odd that you could do work for Padre, yet suffered no negative sanctions if you went about slaughtering the Valentinos.

I've been thinking about the 1.7 question you brought up for quite some time. At some point over the last several months they went dark on talking about it until the latest press releases. I surmise they'll be saving those details for a time closer to release to keep the marketing momentum going, and to to give players (new and returning) a chance to get into the revamped base game in the lead up to the release of PL. It leads me to believe that we're likely to see more detailed info on 1.7 in the next couple of months, with a release probably a few weeks away from the expansion launch at the end of September. I was hoping to see it sooner than later, but at least we have a Release date. Here's hoping we actually do get 1.7 a bit earlier.
I think they want to surprise us with all the work they put in without spoiling to much considering we all know they overhauled everything. I'm personally excited for it considering I still play it even if I did everything in the game and have nothing to do now lmao. Oh also I love your video Kate especially the mass effect ones that helped me decide what class to go with on my second run of the game
I really want a better draw distance. I play on pc and even just billboards or random adds only spawn in as I drive by it.
