Last year, I said in my review of Cyberpunk Edgerunners that CDPR now has a blueprint for where to go with Cyberpunk 2077, and Phantom Liberty shows the studio already had exactly that in mind. Between a more sophisticated level of storytelling with excellent performances, smarter insights on the cyberpunk genre and its dystopian themes, and landing on top of a much-improved gameplay experience thanks to its fresh 2.0 update, Phantom Liberty marks a new chapter for Cyberpunk 2077 and is finally close to what I’d hoped it would be when I first sat down to play three years ago.

  2. you people didnt learn the first time when they sold you a completely broken down game based on a trailer lie to the point where CD Project Red got sued with sony dropping this game from there stores , people like you are back pre-ordering like a puppet . WOW just Wow , everyone in this company should have be jailed for life for fraud or countries like china facing execution !

  3. Not watching the video as IGN is notorious for their "spoiler free" videos showing and saying bunch of spoilers.
    But those who did see the video, did they show spoilers? 😂

  4. Man the framerate looks so horrendous in this review footage. Like the player has the settings cranked way too high for their PC, maybe? Either way it’s much smoother on my end, but looks kind of awful here.

  5. Games like these are just really fcking hard to make. They take a really long time and also benefit from user data. Every game should have a discounted early access period and then refine the game slowly before releasing the whole thing. Like baldurs gate 3 did. And the greedy executives need to give creatives the time to develop.
