  1. Your 4070 stats seem a little low compared to what im getting. 1440p ultra raytracing, everything at max, with frame gen i was getting 115 fps average, with the low being 97 fps. Dlss quality. Path tracing i get 84 fps with frame gen dlss quality. I play with ultra. Still, im impressed by it.

  2. There is going to be a complete AI and Police systems overhaul which includes Police using variety of vehicles now. I can see this putting more strain on the CPU specifically. Also with High Res Textures +RT+DLSS2/3 you want that Low 1% FPS to stay relatively high and it’s where CPU and high speed RAM helps. Also I think it is a smart thing to do to set these recommended specs high. Just in case, so people won’t get bitchy or disappointed.

  3. Hmmm. I run the current version of Cyberpunk (1.62) on a fx6300 with an rx570. Low settings. About 55fps. I also run it on an fx8350 with an rx580, mostly medium settings. 55 fps. So I'd guess these revised specs are BS. Also the Ryzen 7 7800X doesn't exist, unless they mean the 7800x3D, which certainly doesn't equate to the i7 12700.

  4. I saw that 3080ti with rtx on(all the presets) + dlss off is currently 60fps avg in 1080p(by using an intel 11600k/radeon5900x), that's means, that CPR only updated the requirement with the numbers that we play already, to make them more accurate with former hardware and adding the overdrive and new gpus and cpus only, that's means that probably we will play the game with the same numbers that we are doing right now, and this new requirement list is only showing it, you could see that if you have this hardware already, i also use a 3070 with 5700x and with rtx on + dlss Q showed 60fps avg in 1080p.

  5. I heard they overhauled the AI for enemies, maybe that's why the requirement for cpu went up, the requirements for RT Ultra with 12gb memory seem insane though, I can run it on RT Ultra with my 3070 8gb with no issues, now my card would not be able to reach the same performance based on this, and it is not that old

  6. A shit game never changes, its still shit, it was sht, it will be sht, no matter how shiny and how much perfume(RTX) you add to it, even to this day theres no AI in the game, its just a carcass, a shell, its dead

  7. It's quite impressive that CDPR turns an unfinished product into the modern "CRYSIS" like this. Eventhough nobody plays it, everyone apprently benches new hardwares with it anyway. Do not develop a game, develop a benchmarking tool.

  8. I don't see anything wrong with those requirements. What is nonsense here? They are giving Proper expectations. People will cry when it won't hit 60 fps and they have a 3060 8GB and a 12400k.

  9. I wonder what they did to the game that my rtx 3060 12gb and a ryzen 5 3600 that with rtx on ultra 1080p was capable of 60 fps apparently will not be enough when PL will be launched. The CPU part is the most confusing since the game on Ultra uses around 70% of my cpu power

  10. I think whoever created the list has no idea about hardware, or second possibility the update doesn't bring performance optimizations but degradation and CDPR tries to cover themselves now to say afterward: if it runs badly, it's not our fault, it's your hardware's fault.

There is no Ryzen 7800x, there is a 7700x and a 7800x3d. But the X3D is a completely different CPU in a different performance class.

  11. Can developers please stop trying to push the absolute most out of their titles at the expense to affordable specs for clout so people can actually play their games without their pcs catching fire?

  12. Probably has more to do with the fact that the new areas are full of fire smoke / dust/ fog, basically a lot more particles and it appears to be pretty dark so it's looking like way more shadows than the base game.

  13. 5600x with 4070ti and 32 ram. Max settings, Rt overdrive, 2k ultrawide, frame gen on and i get over 90 fps. I dont think the graph includes dlss/ frame gen in the fps calculation. I also run many mods, so this performance should mimic the dlc

  14. I'm thinking the old requirements were related to 30 fps, I think that's why the requirements doubled.

If they update the game and slow down 70% of their customers the bad press following the botched release would kill this game franchise.

  15. CDPR показали правдивые системные требования для 60 fps. Старые системные требования были не совсем понятными так как не указали сколько fps должно быть.

  16. Primocache is excellent at caching hard drives, I've got a 256GB NVME caching a 4TB 5400 RPM drive and whatever games I'm playing at the time load at NVME speeds.

Back when I got this drives were still expensive however the fact remains I have a 4TB drive that behaves like an NVME as long as I play the same games most of the time.

The write cache also tends to help with h the auto save lags.

  17. SSD requirement, but no Direct Storage? That's disappointing.
Also, my 5900x is old already? Wow, they need to learn to optimize their games.

  18. when i bought cp 2077 end of 2019 and could play it not with highest settings and constant 60 fps, but medium and close to 60 with my vega 64 in full hd and thought welp, not really making use of my wqhd monitor, but i await the addon to jump back in the game cause by the time it comes out, i probably have a better system… well, i have a slightly better system with a 6700 xt and a 5700x ryzen now, but this will still land me only at full hd lol.

  19. I don't think it is a mistake that I run modern video games on my computer using an 18TB HDD NAS drive. They work at nearly the same speed when running the games when compared to a 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD, a 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD or a 2TB SATAⅢ 2.5" SSD. Then again, why should the consumers give a damn what a company thinks about HDD products, when the developers consistently make unfinished, half-ass products.
