“Fly me to the moon” sang Frank Sinatra. Easy for him to say, he didn’t have to pick his way between an all-out war between the NUSA and the Orbital Air Corporation. He got to go to Jupiter and Mars too!

  1. Hey Jingles I've really enjoyed this series. Never going to play this game and not much interest in the genre, so you can take my appreciation as a compliment purely to yourself!

  2. The "Airplane" movies were hilarious, weren't they. To bad they only made two.
I don't think we'll ever get over Macho Grande. It was definitely the wrong week to stop overindulging pharmaceuticals. We'd better call Buck Murdock.
    I could go on but I won't.
You, Rita and the girls have a wonderful weekend. Keep the floofers well supplied with treats and scritches.

  3. Yeah I like that last bit! What could possibly go wrong here? That is the most forbidden question EVER ! ( " Insert Jingles here " ) !

So many chances too have just Iced Myers and Reed. And you couldn't do shit. at the most opportune time. Had to be infuriating!

  4. Jingles is such a tease. I mean, i love it, but it's annoying at the same time!

Meanwhile, i cannot seem to figure out where i bought CP2077 from. It's installed in my GoG directory, but GoG doesn't think it's installed, and wants me to buy it again at 79 bucks. It's not in my steam library either. So either i bought it on GoG (who i highly recommend, BTW) and they lost my install info, or i bought it off of some other store, and just put it in the GoG directory (i do odd things like that sometimes, it makes sense at the time).

And while i think the game is definitely worth that much, i already paid once, goddamn it!

  5. Dont know why but i got some "no Russian" vibs when the elevator door opend. As I keep thinking its coming to the end and it keeps giving more, although I swear these cliff hangers are going to be the death of me. Stay safe troops, the corps are coming for you.

  6. Meyers going full No Russian on the terminal is what ultimately made me stick with Songbird through to the end. I respect Reed, but he's too much of a FIA lapdog for me to side with.

I know canonically, he's able to cut you a deal. But as V, I do believe he'll try. But if Meyers says no, then I'm done for. And she's MUCH more spiteful than he is.

  7. This game is so overrated. I find it pretty boring.

Lots of boring dialogue reminiscent of a poorly played action b-movie that takes itself too seriously, not much action. And that little action is dumb, the enemies are even dumber and easily defeated without any need for planning. Weapons and abilities look overpowered right from the get go.

The graphics are stunning, although some things in the Cyberpunk universe make no sense. The fidelity to the ambientation and freedom of the open world are great: the only strong points of the game. Vehicle physics are meh, barely better than GTA (which is itself pretty bad).

The story doesn't really grab me either.

Can't wait for this series to end for good.
