  1. Even though I have an RTX 3090, I think games look great on PS5 with HDR. Elden Ring and Forbidden West look fantastic. That said, Cyberpunk 2077 struggles to hit 60 fps on my computer with RTX 3090 and 1080p resolution, no way a console can even approach with 30% of the tflops

  2. What really shows off Overdrive to me is 5:57 where the scaffold looks far more photo realistic due to the shadows giving it depth. Same thing with buildings later on where the shadows and lighting just makes the whole scene feel more cohesive rather than random elements stuck together. Makes sense though as its the same problem with CGI in movies, where if the lighting doesn't match well the whole scene looks fake.

  3. Waited half of the video for you to show the reflections comparisson on the Series X. You seemed to try to make PS5 look like its exactly the same. But idk abt that..

  4. It's pretty clear that this game will look stunning in pc with RT overdrive, but i have already finished the main game in my PS5,hope there is an optional n to play the expansion alone in PC.

  5. The fact that incomplete & unpolished games are getting expansions/DLCs speaks volumes as to how standards in this industry has sunk & continues to do so every day, I can't imagine what the next generation would look like. So as long as the visuals look good, you can sell barely half-assed games at full price & have fully operational microtransactions in them.

  6. With them focusing so much on the Ganzalo and Anaconda/Lockhart, I really hope that with the Phantom Libery release (if not patch 1.7 before Summer's end) we finally get a build fully optimized for AMD raytracing.

    I had a 2070 Super at launch, and a year ago upgraded to a 3090 12GB (3080 Ti).

I have always been an AMD guy, but went with Nvidia due to CDPR being with bed with them, but I want to go back to an all AMD build.

I'm planning on the 8900XTX (using current naming schemes) as my next GPU next year, but afraid I might have to stick with Nvidia if RT is still not up to snuff on the AMD side next year for Cyberpunk.

  7. FYI, FSR is not an image reconstruction technique, it is an upscaling technology of simple image resizing. All 2.0 provides is temporal data to reduce artifacts and ghosting. Only Intel and Nvidia currently have a version of image reconstruction through AI inference models.

  8. All I want is for someone to thank the Modders, gosh damn they are the only reasons we are getting the majority of the overhauls and major new improvements in this game. Some of the mods I honestly fear with still be better than what this team will be able to pull off but time will tell. I just really really hope that CDPR hired some of the big Modders like DJKovric and others to work alongside this expansion, they kept this game alive otherwise it'd be a completely dead game by now.
