Big shout-out to Patrick on the team at GN for managing to pull this off while Steve was briefly out of commission. Show some love in the comments for Patrick’s work on this one. The benchmarks include the first ~30~45 minutes of gameplay for framerate, then additional information on scaling in different sequences in the games. We also tested for performance on all presets for scaling on the RTX 3080 (low, medium, high, vs. Ultra), skipping the Psycho preset. We then took this data to run tests at 1080p/High, 1080p/Ultra, 1440p/High, and 1440p/Ultra. There’s an infinite amount more that could be done, but for now, we’ll have to call it here to get it out in a timely fashion. Video cards tested include: RTX 3080, RX 6800 XT, RTX 3070, RX 6800, RTX 3060 Ti, RX 5700 XT, GTX 1080 Ti, RX 580 8GB, RTX 2060 KO, etc. We’d like to look into the performance of even more hardware, but this will start us off. Testing was done with NVIDIA GRD and AMD’s driver ready for Cyberpunk 2077. Check back for potential future benchmarks of #Cyberpunk2077 in the future.

Big shout-out to Patrick on the team at GN for managing to pull this off while I was out recovering from surgery. Show some love in the comments for Patrick's effort to get this done quickly! Hobbled back in to knock this one out. We have a lot more we want to do with this game, but for now, this should get us all started! There's a ton more to do yet, but we may wait for a few more patches to roll-out before we embark on testing yet more cards.
Tbh rdr 2 is still the best open world looking game when it comes to graphics and details without having too much of sacrifice to fps compared to cyberpunk 2077 in medium 1080p lol
The game is largely about the visuals and as a 1080ti owner having to drop the settings down to low/med for a decent combat exp doesn't work for me at the mo.
Thank you for still thinking about us Pascal users 🙂
Dang, that thumbnail. 😀 Steve deserves a cameo in Matrix 4. 🙂
WOW did AMD get destroyed.. I knew their lack of features would always be their Achilles heel
Hey I spot a pop Bushfire Heros in the background. Nice.
Exactly the video I prayed for thank you Jesus
lol, who's smashing a hummer in the background?
Top cards still choke at 4k settings embarrassing
The pure base is really good. I used it on my last build. Would reccomend
Any chance the game supports crossfire? Lol my dual RedDevil RX 580s wasn't to know. Lol
Ah yes Beve Sturke is back in style.
What a great thumbnail.
Did I miss something? Why is 2080 missing?
So those candles Linus from LTT was bragging about in Ray-tracing mode were not actually ray-traced? Oh my.
Just goes to show how good 'old-school' illumination is.
18:56 -> I do not know wtf you people are doing when testing and reviewing but I am getting 80-120 FPS across the board with 1080ti in 2k Ultra Settings (just turned off film grain -> looks ugly).
Hey, maybe someone here will know this: Can this game be memory speed bound? I have Ryzen 2700, RTX 3070 and 2x8GB 3200 CL14. On stock CPU I had terrible framerates, I overclocked it to 3.8 and it got better, but when I OC'd it to 4.0 nothing changed – doesn't matter what settings I use I get like 65AVG framerate, 40 1% lows and 35 .1% – my GPU shows 80% usage and none of CPU cores peak above 90% usage during gameplay.
Running Ultra + Psycho + Quality gives me a range 45-65 FPS on the 3090
this game will be so interesting to see with next gen ray tracing…
Looks like i will Need 3080ti for more ram and more fps at 4k ultra quality dlss guessing around 52 fps ave with a couple settings turned down like motion blur and shadow tracing which do little for me
Looks at my 5700XT Red Devil You were the chosen one! You were supposed to play Cyberpunk at Ultra, not Medium/High! You were my future-proofing… I loved you…
