  1. The voodoo that goes into current rasterized rendering has really reached a high ceiling considering it looks about on par with the path-traced example.

    Still though, light-transport simulation is the defacto future because all the details that require so much engineering effort to emulate is instead a naturally gained by simply using light the same way reality does
