  1. I completely agree with you. When the game launched I played through it on a 6 year old graphics card on 25 fps and I still enjoyed it somehow (but I didn't participate in the hype around the game). Yesterday I started it again with a new graphics card after a year of waiting and it's like day and night. The game actually feels good and even the atrocious driving has become fun. But CDPR has lost its clout for me. The first release was fueled by too much BS marketing and I will never buy one of their products again at launch.

  2. Funny how a 2013 game, like GTA V, can still play and look better than a 2020 game like Cyberpunk 2077. Sort out a third person pov, CDPR, otherwise what's the point of having customisation for your character – limited as it is.

  3. I actually quite enjoyed this game (with the caveat that I experienced none of the major reported bugs). Super interested in these improvements and can’t wait for the dlcs.

  4. While this update is really awesome i hope this is simply the first of many steps to improve the game, especially when it comes to addressing the missing features and gameplay mechanics.

  5. I'm happy my coworkers preordered this for me for my bday. I had played through a good chunk of the story but that was on base PS4 so I figured I'd just wait, even though I wasn't experiencing anywhere near as many bugs as others they were still kind of annoying. Started a corpo run last night and it's been soooo much better. Mind you I'm also playing on PS5 now which also helps lol. But just in general things feel a lot more fleshed out and less broken. My first Streetkid quickhacker was insanely overpowered very early into the game with how things were balanced before, I feel like I'm thinking things through a bit more with my Corpo.

The first thing I did was look for the crowd diversity that they mentioned in the patch notes and it honestly made such a huge difference. I was seeing so many repeats before and I actually saw new NPCs I hadn't seen before. The kid heads are still just shrunken adult heads though XD. Actually I lied the first thing I did was see if they fixed how V sleeps lmao.

  6. So I thought I'd reinstall this game but the I remembered why I stopped playing.
    Johnny Fapperhand that's why.
I don't care, I just don't care about that mass murdering egotistical psycho that cooked so many innocent in radioactive fire.
I stopped playing when I realized that you just can't erase that mothereffer and that he wins no matter what and you loose and die no matter what.
Eff this game and Eff the devs and most of all Eff Mike Pondsmith for allowing them to rape his IP like this.

  7. I haven’t played it but based on the EFAP coverage, lots of what was wrong with cyberpunk is in the very bones of it, especially the story structure. I’m not sure they can really patch their way out of the bad design.
