Game definitely looks better after 1.5 from what I've played but yeah there was also a performance hit.
Is this benchmark CPU bound?
more harder rt shadows. not sure if its worth performance loss, especially in dark scenes. since more realistic picture is good but when everything is too dark its not good also, so you want picture to be brigther to better see the details.
This game is the new Crysis. They should add "Can it run Cyberpunk ? " in options menu 😀 Very welll done comparison. Thanks .
Do you know if adding -qualityLevel=ConsolePro in exe shortcut increases the graphics quality much more. Or better not use it to gain more fps?
Ray tracing reflections are definitely downgraded.
CDPR must be crazy.. performance decrease on PC? I think they enjoy living in danger hahaha. PC community is obsessed about FPS!
What's the point of raytracing at this point?
Can you turn off the new RTX shadows or are they baked in if you have RTX "on"?
Distant shadow/light maps are limited, volumetric fog is toned down… but it's still decreasing performance?
The headlights popping in on surfaces is so annoying to me.
dude every channel skips the video settings lol. What do you have your value at sir ? very curious about the frame rate settings
still looks like pile of human 💩shit after all updates
What a shitty game
So take a game that the literal best consumer GPU on the planet can't even run very well and make it MORE demanding with an update. Awesome.
–15-20% fps
И где отличия ?
Hey, THX. So I have more +5 FPS on LOW I have: GTX 1060 6GB + i5-10400
they fcked the performance even more. this studio is the biggest joke in gaming history
Awesome ! Game looks worse and you lose fps. I will stick with 1.31 so far great and stable . Had no issues whatsoever.
I also noticed the reflection on asphalt or floors are less detailed in 1.5
Game plays better in AMD and worst in Nvidia Cards (Without RT) with each version, probably due to the consoles optimizations. This happens even before 1.5 patch. Nvidia should pressure CDPR to optimize the game also for their cards (it supposed to be an Nvidia supported title). For the additional RTX effects should be a slider; the game ran bad as it was (though seeing your own reflection in RTX reflections would be a welcome addition)
Try using DLDSR
RT reflections look worse and at the same time the fps is worse. gg
Кто-то разницу увидел?
Gotta admire CDPR to cut to the chase with this massive patch, I have played for a while and it feels smoother, more stable and many graphical and bug improvements… overall a solid work, waiting for The Witcher 3 next gen upgrade!
Glad they're actually trying to fix the game instead of letting it be forgotten. I honestly really want to play this game but i'm still waiting for more performance optimization and bug fixes
Streets are still empty. This game is trash. They didn't fix shit.
Жёстко порезали рассеивание освещение и обработку частиц.
the best bit it the blue lights on the porsche. looks crazy good for such a small detail
Playing on an RTX 3080 ti, I9-11900k, 64gb HyperX RAM, and a Samsung 980 pro SSD @ 1440p maxed out (DLSS balanced). Getting about 60-80 fps, feels pretty good.
The porsche scene and the road reflections look significantly worse imo. also 10 less fps kind of blows what is this
Guess I’ll get it on PS5 instead
I know right! It’s starting to come together!
Edit: It was high crowd density. Reducing it to medium caused FPS to increase back to solid 55-60 fps.
Ok, so I'm not really a hardware guy but something is wrong somewhere. I have a Geforce 2060 Super bought in 2019 running on Ryzen 5600x. I used to run Cyberpunk 1.1 with RTX on Ultra at 1080p at was impressed at the 60fps I got. After 1.5 I get a unstable 20-30 fps in all areas. I've updated my drivers and testing different settings in the benchmark. Activating RTX halves my fps but according to Task manager my GPU utilization is less than 10% whilst running the Benchmark. That cannot possibly be accurate, can it? Is some bug causing the GPU to stall?
Just seemed to have turned up the contrast but it does look better as more contrasty images generally do.
Thanks for the video. I will now know that it's version 1.3 that I have to torrent.
I am getting 55-75fps on rtx 3090 and 10850K on 1440P with all ultra,rt ultra, and dlss quality, after update.I
53-55fps are sometimes when driving through crowded areas. That place when you go out from hotel.
la misma mierda
Less FPS cause of better rt shadows? Aight, fine… But did they fix that wonky ass playermodel shadow?
Thanks, now I'm jealous. 😅
Looks awesome the new update! Meanwhile I'll try to forget what I've seen here with my 1080.
Look at the reflections on the road as the Porsche drives, ray tracing is not quite working the way it should.
It got SO MUCH WORSE! Like minus 10 FPS average. Real depressing.
Ok, what happened with the wind in 1.5? In all of the patch 1.5 videos on yt, and in my game, the wind effect is basically gone, except when it rains.
They took most of the animations out in 1.5. Why are the trees in 1.3 look alive with wind going through them, but in patch 1.5 they are all still like cardboard?? This is horrible specially with the fps drop
amd fx6300, 12gb ram (the old ones, ddr3 maybe?), gtx 1060 3gb and I play at the same fps as you but in high… omg this game
can you show a video without ray tracing turned on please? I would like to know if the new patch improves frame rates for non ray tracing cards.
Benn playing with the game since the 1.5 update. I'm running a 3080, 10900f, 32 Gb of DDR4 at 3200MHz. I play the game at 1440p all Ultra settings RTX Ultra DLSS balanced. I get outstanding performance upwards of 95 FPS at times. However, the immersion is absolutely broken in any crowded area during the daylight hours. I can go from 70 fps straight to 49 and back to 70 when running through a crowd. I even have a G Sync Ultimate monitor, but it cannot compensate for the bad frame time pacing. My only solution to get a very smooth and comfortable playing experience was to use the framerate limiter option and lock it to 50. You also have to use v-sync, as the map is broken without it. I love high refresh rate gaming, but Cyberpunk isn't optimized for it with RT, and likely will never be. I'm happy with a locked 50 fps, but I would like to see some better optimization on the way. I mean…it's a 3080 after all. It can do better.
