  1. RT and DLSS is what makes the RTX 30 cards superior than the RX 6000. Overall, Nvidia is still clearely ahead of AMD in terms of video cards. When it comes to CPU, AMD is number 1 today.

  2. I’m using an RTX 2060 Super and in 2560×1080 UltraWide resolution Ultra + DLSS Quality no RT is 60 fps plus, with a Ryzen 9 3900x. DLSS is a great tool, though I want to buy a 3080, but prices are horrible.

  3. I'm still playing CP2077 at 4K Ultra RT + DLSS Balanced and getting 55fps with my 3090 and around 60fps with Resizeable Bar enabled.
Night City looks drop dead gorgeous on the 4K OLED TV, truly a next gen visual experience, just wish there were more contents in the game because I have spent 190h playing it already :D.

  4. Two observations:

    1. Why are you playing with a console controller on PC? Hopefully that's only for vehicle driving parts of the game…

    2. The 3090 is just a joke for the price. Unless you have money to burn, I can't see any reason to buy a 3090 over a 3080, the performance increase is negligible for more than double the price.

  5. is it just me or is cyberpunk kinda grainy and like messy at any resolution under 4k? Like the game will sometimes go from looking amazing to looking like dogshit for me visually. its weird, the game definitely isnt "sharp" to me. I would go as far as saying the graphics are overrated (play horizon zero dawn on pc, immortals fenyx rising or ass creed they all look far better and cleaner to me god of war and rachet and clank on ps5 aswell way better looking games)

  6. Hey it's the 'Life's not fair' benchmark realized! I love it, 1440p DLSS Ultra w/ raytracing is how I played through the game and really enjoyed it. Great to see these different configurations finally tackled in a proper performance review.

  7. 5900X should have CurveOptimizer enabled with -10 on all cores. The performance lift is HUGE on multicore games like this. Moving from 3.9-4.2 all core to 4.6-4.8 all core. But RTX is GFX limited.

  8. NOT bad for AMD's first foray into raytracing. IMO "balanced" DLSS is the best while still producing an image nearly identical to native in 4k and "quality" can even EXCEED native as evidenced in some games like death stranding.
Lower resolutions like 1440p should stick to quality.
