  1. Right, in position.

Perfect, almost to the second. My turn…
…hmm, satellites are down for now – just got the signal. Signature cloaking activated.
Remember – got one shot and one shot only.

Hmm, tell me something I don't know.

Soon as it starts, there'll be no backing down, no chance of extraction, no chance of survival if anyone notices…

    Excellent.

…but if this works, you'll gain more than you ever imagined.

  2. The Sun ending is legit one of the two happy endings.
Either your potential last acts on this earth is pulling the greatest heist ever conceived IN SPACE (and since it's dealing with Mr. Blue Eyes it could mean your continued survival) , or you and a rag-tag band of nomads escape from Night City in some desperate bid for freedom (and maybe a shot at survival…)

All the other endings are just… Sad.

  3. This game. I can't really describe what I feel after finishing all endings. It's weird because I can't really say if the endings are sad or happy. Every ending gives me a feeling of… emptiness. Like every meaning in life is lost.

In the Aldecaldo ending, you will die as of the game's lore. You leave the city with Panam (and Judy), but you know you only have 6 months. In the Sun ending, you try to end your life with a big boom, but even then again, it's simply meaningless. Your name will be remembered, yes, but then what?

This game has shown me that there is absolutely nothing in life that makes sense. And I am not sure if that is rather good or bad for me, because on the one hand, it's simply sad to know that anything you do leads to nothing that has any bigger meaning in the universe. On the other hand however, it's like simply not giving a fuck. It's like, if you know what'll happen and you have an idea of how long you still have to spend your time, you'll get the perspective of someone who simply does what makes most fun. What feels good and right. Because that's what makes us human – to have emotions and morals.

The saddest thing however, which is independent from the ending, is the society Cyberpunk plays in. I hate our real life society, meaning there is no chance that I'd like the society in NC. Your whole life depends on luck, and the only way to "be someone" without luck is by selling yourself away, ultimately removing the very part of you that called yourself to be someone – your soul.

For me, the Aldecaldo ending will remain the best of all. When there is something in life we should focus on and put a meaning on it, it's emotions. Having as much possible emotions as possible is the main goal in every life. Anything you do is out of motivation to feel better in some way. If we leave the city, knowing it destroys us with every move we make towards it, together with our first and last romance of our life, spending your last 6 months with exactly that person, this is what feels right. This ending perfectly describes it and with that, the quote gets a stronger meaning:

    "Live a little."
