Got some Matrix vibes with this one. It makes sense though. You get "plugged in" during this mission. Even the chairs look like the ones in the Nebuchadnezzar.
Y2k and cyber punk 2077 have something in common great music but the games are bad like really bad and sonic 06 had amazing music but bad game play as well just goes to show a rushed game is bad game.
Doing the Voodoo Boys missions really gave me William Gibson's Sprawl Trilogy vibes (he is considered to be the father of cyberpunk genre). The novels also featured individuals who worshipped Voodoo and utilized cyberspace to accomplish their goals.
I am back here because of the awesomeness that was Phantom Liberty and the chances it gave me to blast more of these mofos while listening to this amazing track
I'm sooooo glad they expanded Voodoo Boys missions in Phantom Liberty just for their theme song alone. That gig where you enter the laboratory where a fuck ton of mechs start waking up and this banger is blasting will be something I'll always cherish.
I'm so angry I missed my chance to hear this gem on my first playthrough! The more I think about the power struggle between NETWATCH and the Voodoo Boys, the more I think why the best outcome outto be NETWATCH Terry. Voodoo Boys are a tight community. Amongst themselves. No spoilers: if the power falls upon Voodoo Boys, they have no obligations to aid the common person after "I Walk The Line" they just much the armed gang like the rest. This is possibly one of the most impactful decisions in the basegame. I adore this questline so much, its the quintessential "chase the hackerman" cyberpunk fantasy.
FINALLY
I WAS LOOKING FOR THESE SINCE THE V.D.B. MISSION
raves should use these songs
I farted on my period.
Build up so good, drop not so much

Beginning sounds kind of like Classic Fallout meets Cyberpunk

What exactly is that instrument in the background? The fluet?
This song feels like it'll summon a voodoo witch in the middle of my room at 3 am.
