  1. have the exact same spec as you with 16gb 2400 something mhz ram. 1060 6 gb is a old card, im not surprised at all how it runs, matter of fact, im glad it can handle medium. NotTheAverageGamerz: did you try lower resolution, perhaps 720p?

  2. i have literally the same spec. what caught my eye was that my 1060 6 GB is just running on 2% on this game.. every (!) other game the GPU ist at 90-99% and can easily run smoothly.. how can that be fixed..

  3. Wait, I'm confused. Istg I saw someone else with i7 7th gen and GTX 1060 and they got <30fps on Medium. And here you played at around 40FPS on Medium, which is honestly not bad.

  4. i can't even get steady 40+ fps with a 2060 super and running my 1600 4ghz damn, wtf why this game so heavy on cpu not just poor 1600 even 3700x bottlenecking a rx 570 like how the hell, ig something is wrong with the game, its may be a bug or something else, my gpu usages not even hitting 40% lmao is this a joke. combat i get 50-60 fps but driving certain areas and also running dipping my fps 36 like insane wow, im playing ac valhalla and i can get easily 80-90 avg fps and never dipping below 70 fps so far in my 20 hour playthrough and im playing 768p not even 1080p lol

  5. I've legit put the game down because I can't get 60fps in night city open world even on lowest settings.

    R5 1600
    1080ti
    3440 x 1440

It's definitely CPU bound for us on the 1600. From ultra to low I gain 15fps from 30 to 45. I'm here just to see how others are doing.

Ordered a 5900X on release day… Just waiting for that to come… STILL

  6. I have an old ass i5-3470 and still almost got a same fps like your Ryzen 5 (1-2 fps different) so that's means this game is mostly gpu intensive, better cpu won't make much different I afraid!!

  7. The game is really heavy on the CPU, isn't it? Got a 1600x with a 1070 Ti. The GPU can easily handle the game on Ultra, which is shown by me having almost the exact same framerate on Medium to Ultra (40-60).

Thinking about getting a 3600, do you guys think it will give me a steady 60+?

  9. It really is just the Ryzen 5 1600. That's your bottle neck. I know for a fact that's my problem. I run with a GTX 1070 special edition (the 8gb). I know for a fact my GPU can handle this game at high to very high settings. The problem is the processor. Basically with my set up, I can run the game on high to very high at a pretty consistent 45-50 frames depending on MOSTLY NPC count it seems. However when NPC counts are low my FPS can be anywhere from 45-60 fps. It just depends on what's on my screen. Eventually I will upgrade to an intel I7 or possibly a I9 if its compatible with my kinda old motherboard (MSI Tomohawk B-350 MoBo Am4 socket) It was only like a 150-200 dollar Mobo when I got it, nd I got it when I got my CPU which at the time was 200 dollars roughly. I think its time for some upgrades.
