Cyberpunk 2077 just got a major update for PS5 & Xbox One X, hyped up by fans as a soft relaunch of the game (lol). Well, it’s out, and it’s alright. There’s been some big improvements, honestly stuff that should’ve been there at launch. It’s certainly a start, but I don’t think anything short of a No Man’s Sky overhaul would make this game the masterpiece it was hyped up to be.

Will you do a new horizon review? I was so triggered by the sequel that honestly looks like dlc for the first one.
MAAAAAN at this point, ether your gonna play the shit or your Not lol. I have it on PS4 and I’m about finished BUT I haven’t touch it in a Year or how ever long it’s been 🤷🏾♂️. It’s still on my system so there hope 🤷🏾♂️.
Watched the video and I like it, you made some good points, but I want to add points for you to think on.
You mentioned the game was too easy and you were playing it on very hard, but also stated that they shouldn't have nerfed the more powerful combat advantages the character has but bumped up the weaker perks. Those two points seem counter to each other, surely if the game is too easy, nerfing those OP perks is one good way to improve the gameplay along with the AI improvements. You also mentioned you wanted that god like feeling, which again seems counter to you complaining the game is too easy. If Very Hard was too easy and is now harder, surely that is a good thing and if you want the god like feeling back then you can knock the difficulty down.
If they nerf the more powerful guns, even without buffing the weaker ones, they become closer in effectiveness surely. Say blades were 100 and SMG are 50, dropping blades to 75 brings them more in line with each other, if not perfectly balanced of course.
Finally someone with sober review. Keep up the good work. Some stuff here and there I don't agree that much like map overhaul and icons and too much "apparently" "honestly" words 😀 But otherwise, good review. Even the actor you have as an avatar is one of my favorite.
the nerfs and balance changes killed the game for me , I will never return to the game.
The FUN part was the absolutely broken OP stats you could minmax. Now it's just a boring fkin slog

I think your and many fans obsession with PROMISES has got to stop. CDPR overhyped their game but most of these promises i see are just 4chan fan thories that youtubers take as fact. For example you got interview with some story guy from CDPR and ppl think he is talking abt gameplay mechanics. It is so overblow its crazy.

If they were, maybe they were hoping for the game would become what they originally advertised. But yea, don't hold your breath on that one until you get solid confirmation of this. Like, you have it in your hands and can see that it's the case, levels of confirmation. Maybe they forgot what the original release was like.

CDPR could completely overhaul the game at this point and I wouldn't care. They lied about this game for years, deliberately misled their own customers. Adding some polish to their product doesn't fix that.
Took them over an year to implement things that modders added themselves within a few months since launch. Absolutely pathetic.

Hearing the deux ex soundtrack at the end of the video makes me wonder melancholically what this game could have been if it caught the deux ex human revolution dark's vibe and actually gave us the cyberpunk/dark future experience we deserved. Shame.
The only big change I saw was graphics what do I do with graphics the game still isn't what they promised next Gen ai is limited to 1 person fighting back or one car going crazy

Im not touching this game again until the story expansions come out all i want is newwer choices and missions and dialouge options so i can role play as a corpo and hopefully fully romance meredith but until then im touching this game again

Game still feels awful on console, or at least on my series s. Game needs another round of optimization but its problems are at the core of its design. Huge disappointment.
