The PC version is dramatically better. If you have a PC this is one of those games that you should avoid for console.
I bought it when it hit the Best Buy clearance a few months ago with rewards for 5 bucks. Just opened it today and installed for first time so here’s hoping to some fun at least so series x.
game looks identical on ps5 to ps4 pro, you would really have to stare at side by side screenshots to notice a difference. this ain't next gen, not at all. demons souls still the best looking PS5 game by a mile
From what I've seen, for people who have already played this game, this update is crap beyond the technical improvements. DreamcastGuy said he felt this update was meant to draw new players in (especially considering there's a new 5-hour demo available on Xbox), which I agree with. This update feels like how the game should have been at launch, but here we are, over a year after launch, and the very base foundation of Cyberpunk 2077 is finally being realized.
I played the shit out of this game on PC when it first released, and loved it…but only played one role/story ending. Playing it now on PS5 feels legit better than my initial experience on PC…I find the update most welcome.
Wait a damn minute no online game.. this a single player FPs game.. So there’s no reason to play this game again honestly.. throw it away..
I didnt played CP on PS4 since I heard there will be a free next gen verison for PS5 for ps4 owners, so this is will be completely new for me with all the extra stuff. Looking forward to play the game now.

Fully agree… It's great they're still fixing it, but I completed the game back in 2020, and there simply isn't enough here for me to go through it again… No new game + with an update like this was a massive oversight… Especially with all the big releases right now… A few days from now and nobody will be playing this again cuz there's no reason to stay … So overall, CP2077 falls short yet again

Going from 30fps to 60fps is massive. Runs like shit at 30fps with Ray tracing. Unless raytracing is available in 60fps dont even bother IMO.

Ps4 players cant play the game. The patch doesn't work at all with disc copies. Error code appears saying the game is corrupted, delete and reinstall. reinstalling doesn't fix it.

Hopefully this will improve the game somewhat.
When I played this on pc when it first came out the only bug I actually got was the car flipping out and exploding when I called it (I didn't even notice the braindead npc's at first because the other stuff was so interesting I didn't mess arround) the second time I think it was like 1.23 I wanted to mess arround and holy Moses . There were bugs that didn't exist before the update . Jackie would have a gun stuck in his forehead and he could teleport through walls as an example . I stopped playing . 1.5 seems interesting . Imma give it a try . Nice surprise too because I didn't see the apparent leak . I just woke up and saw 1.5 started downloading …. I won't lie tho . I'm a person who has a high tolerance to bugs . So even if there are still a bunch of them the very slight AI improvement is enough to get me playing again since everyone exiting their cars and ducking in the middle of the road is the real reason I didn't wanna play anymore

Im very happy with it. I didn't even bother with playing this on my One X at the time of release. I saw many videos of the final product on launch and it was shocking. I waited to see what the PS5/Series versions would be and I was happy that it was a free update. I bought the game at a discount for my Xbox Series and I do appreciate them for trying to do a Redemption arc and they also included a free demo too. Hey, if Bethesda pulled it off with Fallout 76 and Hello Games pulled it off with No Man's Sky, then anything is possible. This isn't to say "all is forgiven" with them and yet I'm happy that they are fixing this game. I'm jumping in for the first time !
Yeah i'm gonna say for the amount of content and improvements they made it still sucks ass. As a brawler i am now actually even more punished then before. The easy difficulty claim that combat should be no problem is even more horseshit now. Modcuts in clothing..lesser mods to equip possible. For me it was actually more fun before the improvements. So the game runs better but now i am more weaker then i have ever been. Being shot to hell by guns. I mean seriously having to start over 20 times on easy because i am basically a towel. Fuck that shit. And it ain't because i am so bad at the game. But now that i am punished for wanting to be what i am this game can kiss my ass. I get they are trying to fix it..but keep it fun for the ones who really could not care less about the same battles 2000 times. Apart from the extras the game is still the same..only now after a year we are all forced to take the long way boring eddie making to the good stuff. Do it right the first time or please just don't. At this point it's only pissing me off more.
