Cyberpunk 2077 is an impressive and large role-playing game, and many players are still waiting for the ultimate edition to enjoy all it has to offer. CD PROJEKT RED offered an update on its plans for Cyberpunk 2077 and more as part of its Q3 2021 financial earnings report on Monday, stressing that there is still a lot more to store for this much-maligned open-world sci-fi spectacle.
Cyberpunk 2077 is already a wonderful game on PC, and it’s even better on current-gen powerhouses like the Xbox One X, Xbox One S, and PlayStation 5. The game, however, is actually a last-gen title that hasn’t been adequately optimized for newer systems. Fans have been waiting for this update for a long time. The current-gen version of Cyberpunk 2077 is currently targeted for release in early 2022, according to the CDPR update; a timetable that, hopefully, won’t slip any further.
A huge cross-platform upgrade for Cyberpunk 2077 is also in the process. This update is expected to address numerous bugs and optimize the game across platforms, particularly on the aged Xbox One and PS4 console families (which historically provide a majorly flawed experience in Cyberpunk 2077). Finally, Cyberpunk 2077’s first expansion is presently in development. In the near future, we may get an update on when we can expect this.
CD PROJEKT RED also announced that is working on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s current-gen version will continue the update. CD PROJEKT is also growing, with the addition of two additional teams recently.
It’ll be fascinating to see how Cyberpunk 2077 develops in the future. While it’s still one of the top Xbox games and best PC games for fans of epic RPGs — especially if you’re playing on more recent hardware like the Xbox Series X|S — many gamers have panned the game due to its rough experience on older devices and a slew of issues.

Dude you need to do a little bit more research they said next Gen update isn't coming until the second quarter of 2022 the update 1.5 is supposed to drop within this first quarter of the year which I highly doubt
