Under the weather but managed to get the news out to you all today! What's everyone been playing? Anyone see the new Batman movie? What did you think of it?
Wasted money on marketing a game that is going to sell itself…
Street cred always bothered me, is was so easy to get to lvl 50 without even trying.
I just want huge storyline DLCs covering most of the stuff fans want to see
If we're talking somewhat subtle influence for Street Cred, maybe people on the street move out of your way while you're running along the sidewalk or actively avoid trying to hit you if you're in the street. Maybe a slight discount at stores. If we want to go bigger and more blatant, though without beating you over the head with it, make hostile npc's prioritize hiding behind cover or even trying to run away in some instances. If we want to get full crazy with it, maybe we find a V fan club on the website page for computers in game listing some of your accomplishments, or sometimes you get a text message from random people whose lives you've affected or saved. Hell, maybe combine the two, stick things people say and think of you on that website kinda as you do things.
this amount of money spent on a game is nothing for an open world sandbox … how about the 500 million currently accrued for Star Citizen? people are still investing in this game and it's not even out of Alpha game play yet!
I wish they would add a 3rd person mode for console , as I would like to see all the visual gear you acquire throughout the game !
They really need to keep this game alive if they can have Grand theft Auto that damn long why the hell can they not do it for cyberpunk cyberpunk is a very cool ass game all it needs is a new direction and some money to throw back into it but there is so much you can do with it
Two ways to look at it , 1 they kinda screwed us royally at launch so , stands to reason they are trying g to make good. 2 the thing is gonna cost money.
HOW TO MAKE STREET CRED INTERESTING
– Have gangs and criminals be like "beat it,bitch" or "loser" and as it increases, they will be like "oh ,its V" or "Big fan, bro" or "Sorry,my bad"
– Smaller criminals will drop weapons and run away while the medium and bigger ones will stay and fight
– More services like valets, or discounts for weapons and clothes OR more flashier guns, clothes being unlocked
– Some criminals wish to join you and become allies that help you fight or cause distractions or gather enough to make your own gang/Merc company
More expensive than star citizen?
I like how they have actually added bonuses bonuses to certain pieces of gear or or certain items of clothing depending on their use or their look
My main problem is that the standard things that almost all open world should have, are not well implemented. Police, NPC AI, and more.
Its expensive because who knows how much they gave Keanu.
I’m still playing
the game not bad the ending and path suck tho…u still die…
Not really sure why they would state the currency in Rubbles. Polish currency is Zloty or in exchange PLN. Likely, it didn't cost them all that much to get Keanu for the project, he's such a nice guy and there are also the Arch cycles in the game that knocked off some of his salary.
For street cred, I think that thugs being intimidated would be good and in more missions, the NPCs make it very clear that it was your reputation that brought them to you. It would also be cool if we had side gigs and even more complex jobs that were given to us because of how we do them. For example as a no-kill type of operator, or a Ghost, or even as a brutal assassin in how you do your jobs would bring you fixers seeking that type of skill set.
I hope update 1.6 adds free dlc and maybe some cut content then smaller updates of free dlc over the next 8 months till hopefully a q1 release for expansion
Also hope they announce some more things in there earnings call next month in May like details of 1.6
too many glaring missed opportunities with this game. They should just pull the plug on it now and move on.
