  3. I'm going to have to start a new save file if I want to see what's here in the previous version. Damn, that sucks!

    EDIT: I've found it! The previous item was the Sturdy Shoulder Straps. Here's my deal:

    I have a manual save file from shortly after defeating Sasquatch; I use this to access the areas to find the legendaries since my current playthrough has them all depleted. Well, in this case, I had already looted that container and figured that I would have to start a new game in order to discover what's in it according to my earlier version of the game. Then my brain slapped me around and I realized that I could access that same save file and use the process of elimination in order to whittle down the choices. After all, since defeating Sasquatch takes place early in the game, then how many legendaries could I possibly have? So, I went back into that save file and did just that and was able to account for what few I had except one: the shoulder straps.
