  2. Can't say I'm excited to hear about all these studios getting gobbled up. Too many times I've seen great studios taken up and sent off to the DLC mines, used just to create more generic content for the most profitable franchises. Never again to see the light of original, new ideas again. RIP Raven Software.

  3. It's nice to see someone supporting unions cause very few people do in the US. Most workers are so indoctrinated to be against them that it's… well honestly, not surprising and very american to see my fellows doing more harm to themselves than anything else. I can't even bring it up at work without getting dirty looks, and of course since I work at walmart, always under threat of the Walmart Swat Team.

  4. I get that Jesse really likes CDPR but man, they gotta do a hell of a lot more to get back in my good graces. Cyberpunk exposed a lot of bad shit that I thought was beneath them. Don't get me wrong, they are still better than pretty much every major publisher and other big studios, but that's not saying much.

  5. CD Projekt created a spreadsheet of 71 most popular mods to see which one works with Next-Gen version of the game. And… how many does work? I think this little detail somehow got overlooked to be mentioned.
Also dropping Multiplayer for Cyberpunk was inevitable since release. I feel bad for people who still believed CDPR would pleasantly surprise them.
I like how CDPR speaks about priorities for CP2077 now, two years from release. I can tell their priorities are laser-sharp right now. 😀

  6. Sad to hear about the cancellation but it’s not unexpected I mean I’m pretty sure that almost everyone said they expected it to be cancelled even before cyberpunk came out.

  7. damn. i was hoping real players around the world would one day replace all the dead-eyed, lifeless, shuffling mannequins currently populating Night City since day one… and maybe even get to see someone other than V riding a motorcycle through the city streets. but alas, 2 years on, the game still doesn't even have a last-last-gen equivalent cop system or traffic system, let alone modern NPC AI. beautiful on the surface, shambles underneath. maybe next time.

  8. Callisto Protocol has its weaknesses, but I still would love to see you play it. I have enjoyed it so far despite some of the jank. Though, it does have to run still.

  9. 3:51 from what I’ve heard you (Jesse) are not missing out on anything and that’s sad to hear, I am not by any means the games target audience but I still wanted it to be good I like the story’s behind games like dead space it’s just the jumpscare gameplay that I hate with a fiery passion so I was following Callisto protocol with some interest but halfway though watching skillups review I paused it to go look up the ending boss and story conclusion and oh boy was it disappointing, I’ve seen better written story from D&D groups that are only doing dungeon crawls.

  10. Yeah i also remember when they put in a lot of effort to make fans happy by releasing a Cyberpunk 2077 that wasn't broken at all. They aren't better than the other companies, they just didn't get away with it.

  11. Definitely satisfied with CDP. Also,, Jesse you should just refund your copy of Calisto as it doesn't work. Get the Xbox version if possible since that seems to run eh smoothest surprisingly.

  12. Everyone is in a race to become the next EA since EA is only interested in making 1 battlefield game that is half baked every two years and sports updates now.

Gotta buy up all the small successes and attach them to the main flotilla that is the company so all the talent and innovation gets absorbed into the share holders bank accounts before shedding the small carcass that used to be that company and floating away.

  13. As somebody who thinks that not every game needs a multiplayer mode I am not sad about it but on the other hand it is another big point they bumbled about Cyberpunk 2077. It was a big selling point and then just got stricken when it came out how many issues the game had all on its own.
