Looks like a cool game! Hope you enjoy the play through and keep up the good content
Finally🤗
29:07 if you invest into reflexes you get so much more movement options than just sprinting 🙂 35:03 this is example of censoring filter working without it you can see the body with cyberware ripped out.
Ladies and gentlemen, Mr Jackie Welles!
You be nice to our boy, or it's going to get real.
I always thought the Street Kid intro was the most contrived myself. But when this game was in development/promotion they made it sound like these life paths would be a much bigger deal then they actually are.
I suppose this game was always kind of screwed, it was never going to live up to the hype. But there's some things in this game that are very impressive, a lot of them subtle.
I still like this game, especially after the patches and DLC.
Your shooting is better than it was in RDR2 haha. Go for more headshots!
28:27 "I like that Quickhacks thing. That's Cool :D"
Chooms, we might have a future NetRunner on our hands.
You're settling in well, good to see. I know you really wanna rip out machine guns and stuff, but tbh there probably just isnt that many situations where its worth it. You love the hacking, but if you want to actually do any meaningful damage with them you'll want high Int. Hacks as support to weapon damage will be fine without Int.
My favourite build always ends up as throwing knife + katana + revolver, max Int>Cool>Reflexes. You can go everywhere, do all the things, disable entire security systems and melt an ocean of gonks with a glance and do so from the comfort of your sweet ride. While blasting Us Cracks, cranked up to 11, of course.
Non invasive vanillaish mods you may want to consider: Infinite respecs, Preem Scopes, Pass all skill checks.
The last one is a bit of a stretch, but a lot of skill checks are pretty nuts for no good reason. Why not just have all options on the table and just keep in RP of how you think your V would handle things. This is a story game more than anything else.
But whatever you do you, it all works. This is great so far! Lemme know if this is all TMI though, it's your Night City after all.
Just noticed you were starting this series. I played this game during launch and it was horrible😆. Still, it had a special place in my heart because I like the storytelling. I'm glad now it's polished and many people can enjoy it properly. Looks like I'll have a new videos to binge watch . Keep up the good work 😁
That was a really fun montage, and clever tutorial. I like Jackie so far! 🤗
The gameplay was massively changed in the update for the expansion. It's a lot more fun now imo. There is a lot more flexibility and customization than Witcher 3 at least.
"I shall dump, and it will be lethal" hahaha hell of a soundbite
Despite pre-ordering this I waited a few months for the major bugs to be ironed out. By that time any issues were pretty insignificant. And as curious as I am with all the latest updates and DLC I just don't have another 150+ hrs to sink into this IP. I got my enjoyment from it but can't do it again.
V is constantly getting her butt kicked because V, whether she's corpo, streetkid, or nomad, is a loser with no real agency in her life, and being a merc is the last chance saloon for the men and women that don't fit in.
This game is about how she rectifies this sorry state of affairs, but at what cost?
And yes, there are many Matrix references in this game.
Finally, try holding down 1, 2, 3, or 4 to do a stylish lock and load animation with your preferred weapon.
Well at this rate it’s about too be a 1000 episodes long series, we will never see them finish this game😂
I've always really liked the Streetkid intro, feels like it vibes best with V's overall demeanor. Much like Geralt, V is a character seperate from the player, and your inputs shape tone and decision more than personality.
Aww man…. Please try to at least finish missions before cutting. It is like weekly cliffhanger of some series… xD
But for real – 40 mins episodes are to short in my opinion. We simply need MORE! 😉
TIP:
Use your scanner a lot. Good source of information and available tactics You can apply.. I think You already doing fine. And bouncing was funny, but try to focus on Your surroundings. 🙂 Most of the time there few ways to "finish" the job or enter a building…. 😉
One more thing – read computer messages. You can gather some context and info on the future jobs, gigs, quests. people… 😉
1: female V is a great choice. It is quite strange, but the voice actors had two different approaches. When femV is intimidating you hear… she is looking for trouble, and want to apply violence, sooner than later. When maleV is intimidating he sounds like someone acting tough to scare away the others.
2: street kid is strange. It is the most consistent with the actual game (you end up a street level merc independent of your start), but I felt that nomad-merc-nomad is a fulfilling narrative not available for the other start positions.
3: hardest enemy in the game: cars not slowing down when you try to cross a road
