  1. spoilers ahead

They need to make different endings as well as having your choices and back ground through the game actually matter to the journey's destination, instead of "oh either join the net or you die in 6 months regardless of what you do" instead have the choices affect how the endings, IE: joining the net, like if you're lawful V it should rub off more on JS's personality depending on how you played, killing people instead of subduing etc. Being able to chose your ending with from a list mid game is just unfulfilling and cheap.

  2. i didn't have a problem with keanu reaves personally. but having a more dark and psychotic johnny? being afraid of him geniunely? abso-bloody-lutely yes! it would have added so much more depth to the plot as a whole. would've really spun some urgency into it all.

  3. Considering how long this game's been in development, how is anyone surprised at this? It was announced in 2012, but was first put into development in 2016. Lesson of the day, kids, is that you should NEVER announce a game prior to an alpha build. Hype tends to murder good games.

  5. It seems to me that CDproject suffered from another case of "Genestealer" infestation….and the tactic used to "sabotage" CDproject…once more is…INFILTRATE, DISRUPT, SUBVERT, REPLACE….another company falls…

Either the SJWs or Corporate Bots "Genestealers" , CDproject fall was set in stone the moment they started…

    Sad.

  6. Lol. And once again we find ourselves in a situation where idiot plebs expected way too much from a freaking videogame. Sorry kids, your console (even your new one) is garbage tier tech. Get over it or grow up and build a real rig.

Cyberpunk has its issues, mechanically. The writing is far and away better than ANY game that has ever existed. Period.

Cutting a male romance options for Judy is PEFFECT. She isn't into men. Do people want actual characters written or do they just want a digital waifu?

  7. While I did expect the "stock market company" thing to start affecting CDPR negatively at one point, I didn't expect it to happen so soon.
Nothing good comes out of giving the decision making to marketing and disconnected management. 🙁

But maybe it's good that this flop happened now, not after few years when CDPR already became another EA or Activision.

  8. We get our (gaming) news from porn sites now.
Because it's better journalism than journalism these days.
    Great.
Where is the exit again? I want to log out. Change server. Play in another Matrix. Please?

  9. Difficult to say how much these leaks are sincere and how much is a disgruntled employee. Needless to say CD Projekt bit off more than they could chew.

This reminds me of Bioshock Infinite where wishful thinking took over before the guy from Gears of War took over – and that was kind of saved. Cyberpunk should have been based on 3-4 great ideas instead of 20 half-baked. Keane Reeves would have been better in his own DLC, for instance.

  10. Honestly, johnny was a weak point as a concept regarding the overarching storyline.

A "fuck corporations" petty punk rocker just waltzing into Arasaka hq and blowing the place up….I just couldn't take it seriously, it felt too cartoonish in an otherwise serious world.

  11. Don't you dare touch Keanu, you monster… The entire game was/is and will remain a huge flop, you are using your heretic mouth to spew filth and lies about the one person who played Mnemonic, Neo (in 2 not one cyberpunk universes)… oh my Emperor grant me power, cause Arch run astray, grant me resolve, cause were he is heading, is only ruin! Grant me, clarity so I could cleanse him!

  12. It feels like some top exec got Keanu in 2018 and demanded the story be based around him because Keanu is loved by the internet and it would create more sales. I think CP77 was going to an open ended experience where you make your own story in a cyberpunk world, but because of the huge shift in the story and exec's putting their noses in, it messed with the systems and the final product.

Fix the game, put back in the cut content, allow mod support and people will forget about the launch.

And personally i would like to see VR support.

  13. I went into this game completely blind. No videos, no interviews, nothing. All I knew was CDPR made it, and it was supposed to be an rpg. (I'm more of a fantasy game kindve guy, with some exceptions). But even blind, knowing nothing about Cyberpunk, or it's lore, I was able to spot SO MUCH where content was cut, unfinished, etc. My personal opinion, (now having seen some of the footage, 2018 gameplay demo in particular) is that they scrapped everything, and rebuilt the game around Keanu Reeves. I can see some higher up thinking he knows best, and that Keanu needs to be the focus. So much in game just doesn't fit, and seems hastily duct taped together.
