  1. The value of a publisher's stock always drops after the release of a major game, and it has nothing to do with the negative or positive reception of the game itself. That's just how the stock market works. By the way, what sets CDPR and Cyberpunk 2077 apart from other similar games released by Ubisoft or even EA? Why is it that the only publisher that does not use DRM was almost burned at the stake for its "greed"?

  2. I still remember the old teaser trailer for Cyberpunk. The one that came out… 11(?) years ago. I was so hyped for this.
As time went on and CD Project Red was more focused on talking about "representation", catering to the journos and the activists, having the option of putting on a dick on a female character. I already knew that this would not end well. And lo and behold, it played out like it always plays out.

Thank God they patched the game, made a banger DLC and the Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime revived interest. But the damage to their reputation is done. I just hope they focus less on DEI next time and give us a good game, WHICH IS PLAYABLE AT LAUNCH, and redeem themselves.

  3. Amazingly, my PC ran Fallout 4 flawlessly at launch. Maybe I just lucked out and my hardware setup at the time closely ressembled that of a in house testing machine they had. But I vividly remember it being the most stable Bethesda game I tried.

  4. to be fair the game is in a pretty good state now, I'd say that there are still some things they should work on, but none of it is core stuff anymore, the Phantom Liberty DLC is great, the story was always good from the start, they revamped most of the skill and gear so that it's not quite as exploitable (I do miss multi-million damage crits with a revolver but cest'la vie). Give CDPR one thing, they did take the time and spend the money to fix the game, much as Hello games did with No Man's Sky, they didn't just take the money and run.

  5. I bought the game at update 1.5 (because I'm poor and other bumps in life contributed), and when I was finally able to play it, it was a very magical experience for me. I heard all the stuff said about the game, but I was still looking forward to it thinking that it's already patch 1.5, and after I was able to play it, I fell in love.

It truly did deserve the Labor of Love award. The video of the devs after the award even got me a bit teary haha

  6. One of the reasons why it was memory holed so easily is because a ton of influencers that ended up getting cameos in the game or super early access for reviews, all collectively claimed it was fine and there was no bugs or anything. They still do it to this day. SphereHunter Suzi is the prime example of someone that will get into the pants of the developers (literally and figuratively) so they can be in the games. The game runs now, but it's still full of bugs that can sometimes ruin things. The other day I randomly fell through the world while walking.

  7. I was one of the OG players playing Cyberpunk on Base Xbox one day 1 launch… I'll admit, the graphics looked like water paint, however, surprisingly I bearly got any game breaking bugs, only a few crashes, I was able to complete the game, and I thought the story and characters were good and the combat fairly good (I did have the frames dropped when in combat a few times), I enjoyed the "game" and story of cyberpunk when it was working, but I didn't touch the game for at least half a year till after a few more updates and I defiantly had a better experience.

  8. I didn't expect cyberpunk to live up to the hype because Peter Molyneux taught me that the more you are promised, the less you receive.
I waited about six months after release to buy it after it had a ton of patches, but I still encountered game breaking bugs. I'm glad it's at a good point now, but it was a real long ride to get there.

  9. sometimes i don't get it people keep rushing the game to come out fast with bug's then cry about not finishing the game and too many bugs, i played 2077 Day 1 i think i got lucky on my play only bug i got was the car ride with Dexter DeShawn my game froze. nothing like riding back to the city with "NightCity" on the raido though

  10. I remember people on console were crying about the game being unplayable with so many bugs at launch but I guess because I have a decent gaming PC and installed it into my SSD the only bugs I really got were the funny ones like sometimes an NPC walking through walls and clutter sometimes blowing up. But that's it. Overall, since launch for me, the game has been running great. And now it has gotten soooooo much better with the new expansion and patches. Love this game and have had 600+ hours on it

  11. I say this as someone who rage-quitted the game some point after launch because it was such a broken mess…

    It's tons of fun now.

Hell, it's one of my favorite games now, too. Great story. The sword combat is amazing. The city itself is actually amazing in design. Mods mods mods. And CDPR is still updating the game. Yeah, I know, never jumping on the hype wagon with them again. But still, much like No Man's Sky, I can't shake a stick how it actually turned out. I do forgive, but I won't forget. I just hope CDPR seriously learned their lesson.

Oh, and the tram system is no longer a mod. It's officially in the game now.

  12. Recent patches have mostly fixed the game. I rarely see bugs, they only happen playing extended hrs. I haven't seen a crash in almost 2 years. The metro system is actually in the game now and the enemy AI can really kick my ass if I'm even a little reckless. Don't think CDPR is ever going to add multiplayer, it's probably going to be a completely separate game. And it wouldn't surprise me if it does better than Fallout 76. The anime really revived Cyberpunk 2077, some goofy bugs still happen, but at least everything stays rendered. For me at least it takes several hours to see anything that's not supposed to happen. Funniest bugs I've seen is a dude driving a scorched car with no wheels and was dressed in a suit. And a headless enemy I killed and poor guy looked lost and obviously couldn't see me 😂, he fell dead after I shot him again. That was last year though and as of recently shooting while driving is an actual thing outside of the main story and companion stories. Can even get a car with guns on it sorta like 007 cars, pretty much everything that was originally promised is in the game now. Except for multiplayer, which is fine, the game is amazing now and can sit proudly by Witcher 3 on the shelf. It'll be amazing if we can get a separate Cyberpunk multiplayer game like GTA online and Red Dead online, Red Dead online from what I've heard is doing better than GTA online. Probably because of the beautiful scenery and I guess being a cowboy/cowgirl is more exciting than just being a street thug, idk. Anyway, I'd definitely play a online Cyberpunk game over Fallout 76 if we ever get one. So far the only game I'm mega hyped for is Dragon's Dogma 2, at least for this year

  13. It is really too bad that CDPR went woke.

They will be remaking The Witcher 3, but this time they're gonna "fix" all of the "sensitive" stuff.

In other words: remove all the sex.
