CD Projekt Red has popped out of the shadows once more with updates on Cyberpunk 2077 and this time things are even more vague on the future of this game. Where is it heading and when are things coming? The newest roadmap certainly shows a grim sign. Alongside that, profits are down and major positions have become vacant.

  1. Go on send me hate comments for this. I love the story, combat, music and sidequests. The game has alot of flaws though im not blind to that. Game is still broken and buggy which sucks. Man this game fell hard at launch. I just hope Dlcs and further updates are good.

  2. I still liked this game, the premise was awesome and I didnt have any real big issues that people had like not being able to finish quests causing you to reload a save game. The only real problem I had was the first person to third person driving camera switching.

To me without issues it would have been a great game, but i think the world building and map was great. I think the story they had was a little lacking at times but I'm increase picky when it comes to my favorite games.

It's kinda like death stranding having monotonous gameplay but having a decent storyline. To me they need kojima to write the story and have cd project red just handle the graphics, map design and player character interaction.

  3. I’ve been saying for awhile now that even though the game is being fixed and plays better, there’s still very little “game”. There’s no content, there’s nothing to really do other than the missions, everything is a menu, it’s not fun. I want to like this game but there’s not much to like other than what’s there already which isn’t much.

  4. I said it at release and I say it now, when the suits dont allow the devs to make the game that meets that standards set in the beginning, it will never turn out good. Too many cooks spoiled the broth. Multiple changes in direction, scrapped plans, rush jobs, it was all bad. They already went to the bank, consumers robbed and lied to. Cdpr was left with all the damage that other companies get away with for years. A cautionary tale for people trying to do other folks jobs and choosing to not listen to the people actually building the project. Hype is a killer.

  5. I hope they stay quiet and put their heads down to do the work on the game. They need to make sure any expansions they release are relatively bug free and enjoyable if they wanna earn that customer trust back.

  6. No Matt CD project needs to focus on fixing and adding removed content to cyberpunk 2077. Then when the game is in a running state and more finished state.

CD project can then split off some of the people working on cyberpunk and put them on the witcher 3 next generation remaster

  7. The timeline isn't any more vague than the old one, it simply shows we've now got patch 1.22 and what's left for this year is DLC and future updates. Shows me they've done everything they said they would by this point. 1.22 has been out for a while now and it worked fine for me. I saw less bugs than you would in a Bethesda game. 🤷

  8. This video is so negative and not cool. Cyberpunk is fantastic and works great. I'm glad the company are not rushing next gen. Fix things first before going forward. I've finished it twice. Best game in a long time

  9. THE CYBERPUNK GAME HAS SO MUCH POTENTIAL BUT IDK WHAT THEY ARE THINKING🤔 HONESTLY…… IT'S LIKE THEIR TRYING TO MAKE A BAD GAME JUST TO MAKE THEMSELVES LIKED NOTE….. IT'S REMINDS ME OF WHAT THAT LOSER NEIL DRUNKMAN LOL SAID ABOUT HAVING BAD VIEWS IS BETTER THEN NO VIEWS OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT

  10. Bioware was my first love, then EA bought them…CDPR was my last bastion of hope, then they screwed the pooch. There are no good AAA developers left these days. The lesson being wait for many reviews before buying anything, no matter who the developer is.

  11. Played through the game on PS5 when it launched, had almost no bugs whatsoever other than the odd floating cigar and Jackie having a gun sticking out his head that was it….the bugs in this game were never the problem, its the fact that Night City is one of the most boring, shallow, empty, lifless game worlds ive ever explored and the gameplay and story are mediocre at best! No amount of patches and cut content can save this game from itself, it needs completely overhauled from the ground up and that is not happening 😒 so much potential is there…and CDPR fucked it up!

  12. I wasn’t hyped for this game but enjoyed it at first. My issue was that after the first…5 or 6 updates, I got tired of there still being so many bugs and glitches.
I sold it on eBay. I may go back to it in a years time if / when they finally fix it. It’s a shame because it has so much potential.

  13. My honest opinion of cyberpunk is a good idea poorly executed
If they'd spent more time optimising the game and being honest about its condition as well as spending more time working on it maybe it couldve been better

  14. I honestly believe that CDPR is holding back stuff right now and will try to "relaunch" the game when the next gen versions launch.
I don't expect any of the free dlc and/or quality of life stuff will be released before then.

The game is basically in maintenance mode until next gen versions release this fall (when the whole game should have been delayed to). Then we'll see CDPR try to recoup their reputation and sales.
