Today we take a look at the 20GB new update to come to Cyberpunk 2077 with patch 1.62. This is a new update that adds in a few new features, with the biggest being the addition of RayTracing Overdrive mode for Cyberpunk 2077 on PC, the first major implementation of path tracing in a game.

  1. I feel like this wouldn't be necessary if the original lighting was just better. I've played a lot of games with much better lighting than cyberpunk, without any ray tracing or anything.

  2. I shared a video running on my laptop, 10th gen Intel with a 3080 MOBILE GPU (not even full desktop power) and I could still run the game at 1080p with path tracing enabled at a stable and still playable 30 FPS.
