  1. Being a PC player with a half decent rig, I enjoyed CP 2077 to the point I logged in more than 350 hours of playing. But I also have to say I'm heavily biased to the story and the lore as I have been a Cyberpunk 2020 absolute fan since I was a teenager(And that was a LONG time ago) I also didn't care for the game not having "mandatory" features like those shown in GTA: Just cared about the game being true to the lore(It is) and making a decent representation of the city and the world it depicted(again the game delivered on that) and cared very little about anything else.

What I definitely agree upon is that the game should have been released not before the coming year just to live up to half the expectations it created.

  3. For me it's not the bugs or glitches it's what's not included in the game. Like Vehicle customization, buying houses upgrading them. Better NPC AI. Better police system. NG+. More bikes, cars, homes for purchase. Other than that cyberpunk was fun. Just wish there was more to do

  4. The bulk of my 400 or so hours of playtime with CP2077 was either exploring all the little easter eggs or trying to find something akin to GTA's freeroam that can occupy a ton of hours (which sadly is almost completely null with this game) but with mods, it continues to get more playtime every few months.
What's rather misleading about the sales figures is that the majority of that was all in one month, or even the week of release. I'm sure there's some peppering of year-long sales and 're-release' on various platforms added in, but it sure didn't sell well all year…

  5. Honestly, I'm one of those who have enjoyed it from day one, even playing on Playstation rather than PC. I'd probably consider it my favorite game, even with the bugs and controversy. For me, the biggest shame isn't any of that, it's actually the endings. I hate the whole "Oh, not every story has to have a happy ending" thing. Nah. I play games to have fun and essentially losing no matter what choice you make at the end isn't my idea of fun. Don't make me get attached to V and especially to Johnny then doom them.

  6. On track to be something really really special? I don't think so, being bug free and a new haircut for john boy won't make it really really special. This game is good, but only at a Far Cry level of good. For this to be something special, it'll need the montage events made playable and fleshed out (both Jackie's and Johnny's), the world needs to be more open and interactive. Every Ripper Doc visit should be immersive, like the first one. Why is the firing range closed off after you win the pistol? We should be able to go there and level up the gun related skills, and on that, it's Cyberpunk, why aren't the targets holographic, instead of a paper target. Why are we earning street cred by helping the NCPD, that's the school equivalent of hall monitor.
I put 120 hours into this game so it ain't terrible, but will it ever be something really special? No.
Unless they fix/replace the core systems, any new expansions will just be more of the same, and that's not worth a re-install.

  7. I really enjoyed Cyberpunk 2077, played on the Xbox One X completing two play throughs, minimal bugs, nothing game breaking for me. I fell in love with the story and the soundtrack which is what I believe to be the two most important aspects of a single player game. Now holding off for my third play through which will be on the series X, waiting for the next gen update coming next year. I can not wait!
