If you watch my previous Cyberpunk 2077 2018 Demo vs Retail comparison then you surely noticed that the game has received quite significant visual upgrade. But not so long before its launch CD Projekt Red released another gameplay showing much more advanced build. It was June 2020 when journalists across the globe published their impressions backed with prerecorded demo, here’s how that build stacks with retail version (with Patch 1.2 installed) captured in 4K Ultra / Ray Tracing ON settings on PC with following specs:

It's definitely an upgrade, especially compared to some of the other demo showcases.
see some details and assets removed, some added, lighting changes, so yeah idk like stuff from both
but immersion world npc ai of yhis game is glitchy crap… this town is empty. graphic is small question in this game. (but ssr lightning – no rtx – ic piece of worst sht)

I play on PS4 and it was so much worse then the footage shown here even in the first 30 seconds
Playing on Series X. Lighting got so much better on mine. That’s the biggest difference I noticed with tighter player movement. HDR is amazing on this game.
I wish they would have an option to have names above people like in the demo. I really like that for some reason
