Welcome to Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City. This soundtrack video features a mix of the unreleased soundtrack heard throughout the sidequest Chippin In, at Johnny Silverhand’s grave. This video features only the second half of the talk, you can find a full version up here: https://youtu.be/NFW8SulISxI
This mix was arranged and extended by myself using a number of gamerip audio files. As this is an unofficial release credit goes to all three amazing Cyberpunk 2077 composers – P. T. Adamczyk, Paul Leonard-Morgan, and Marcin Przybyłowicz!

nice 🙂
I cry every time 😞 thanks a lot for this 💞
yeah getting shot hurts, but have you heard 0:56 ?😔😔
This soundtrack hits me deep in my heart 😞
This soundtrack describes and sums up johnny’s life very well in my opinion, it sounds empty, sad, lonely, regretful. It makes you remember what johnny says at the grave site and feel so bad for him 🙁 , he had such a crucial life, and although he survived the war it never seems to have ended even after his death wars continue to come his way :(, and to think his body was never found, properly buried or honored and no one of his friends got to say goodbyes or see him, this hurts like a mf. Makes you question, was it all worth it? Brb I’m crying
Johnny's Grave OST/New Dawn Fades actually hurt to listen to. Amazing music, but literally makes my chest hurt because of how sad it is.
Driving to the oil fields, on a rainy night.
00:56 kicks off..
"Most people I thought were my friends, they couldn't even stand to be in the same room with me. You're fuckin' closest to me by a long shot. There twenty-four seven. And yet…you don't seem to hate my living guts."
❤👍
🥺
This was a very deep and meaningful song to the storyline and was very crucial point to my decision to do what ever I could to bring Johnny completely to my side I'm a war veteran so I relate to johnny on a a very emotional level war is hard but continuing to live on after is harder I have had brothers in arms not make it its hard to live with knowing you survived and they did not good job slow walkthroughs and thank you this meant a lot you putting this together to all us war vets out there
Can they please fix this game already? The story made a big impact on me and I have to play it again.
:')
and one question, how do you have this amazing version without an ambience?
For me the best track of the whole game, and the best ending as well. Maybe this game is incredibly bugged, maybe it's not as complete as teased, but damn is it an incredible game in the end
If someone listening this and have tab's for that guitar please share, so fucking cool, there must be someone who created tab for this, it would be crime to do so and not share.
Oh lordie you actually did it!! You made it!!! WOOOH YOU ROCK!
This song is so haunting, it’s been 6 months since release yet this song and Johnny’s Grave scene still hits hard for me.
After I had finished my PC build around late March, among 3 games I wanted to begin playing; 1 was Cyberpunk. First run, I missed all the side gigs, ignored much of the characters except for Panam (I mean who doesn’t?!) and went with the Aldecaldo ending. Took some time to listen to the end credits music and absorb a bit of that cello and acknowledge the raw emotion in every tune. Decided I’d spend another week or two doing the game again- correctly in my opinion. Based the character off of myself, went with cool guns, did absolutely everything and anything I could, finally romanced Judy and managed to get Jackie’s guns this time ‘round. That drive after being with Rogue to the oil fields had really been one of the most pivotal points in the game, and perhaps hearing the “Never Fade Away” tune just like in this video really had me sitting in my creaky, falsely-advertised “ergonomic” office chair I’ve had for maybe 45 minutes pondering life. I had so much to think about including the philosophies in Cyberpunk, and even my own life. I’m a partially spiritual person and was brought to joy seeing the Tarot Cards in game as well, and had slowly realized their influence throughout everything that transpired. All of it, being Cyberpunk, the music, the plot, and so on. . . ties up too well, and I wouldn’t want to be too ‘absurd’ enough to say an external force could’ve influenced it but my, nothing like this could ever be beaten. Nothing ever beats the killer tune of an old guitar humming away between both life and death.
the cello part is my favorite but I do appreciate this one .
Am I the only one who gets Death Note vibes
New Dawn Fades by Joy Division could easily describe Johnny's (and V's) arc… Genius reference.
Different colors, different shades
Over each mistakes were made
I took the blame
Directionless so plain to see
A loaded gun won't set you free
So you say
We'll share a drink and step outside
An angry voice and one who cried
'We'll give you everything and more
The strain is too much, can't take much more
Oh, I've walked on water, run through fire
Can't seem to feel it anymore
It was me, waiting for me
Hoping for something more
Me, seeing me this time
Hoping for something else
The men who save my life 😔😔😌
Freaking love this toon… I would come back and Haunt Night City.. affecting all the speakers through cyber… playing this toon completely random in places so the living still knew I was around.. LEGEND!!!!
This was first time in game I outright sympathized with Johnny. I saw some things from his point of view regarding Arasaka/Corps and their rampant excesses but here I genuinely felt sorry for him. For all his rebel rockerboy terrorist bs and blaze way down the rebel path crap this was reality smacking him in the face. What did all his idealism and fighting get him? An unmarked grave under a trash heap in an oil field. Hardly anyone remembers him, what few friends he didnt drive away have moved on and ironically his image was used as a consumerist cliche sold to people wanting to feel like a rebel.
I wish if you had truly befriended Johnny as a male V he would have instead encouraged you to say screw everything else and just run away with Panam. His belief that he and Rogue could solve everything if you hand over control of your body was totally weak and should have been only offered to players who maybe got on good terms but didnt actually befriend him. It should have been like Ciri in Witcher 3. How you behaved with Johnny affected how he treated you and what ending you could take. Well more than it actually does anyway. I know it does play some role in a sense but its nowhere near enough. Im talking if you brought Johnny closure on his old life he would say forget Arasaka and Smasher, forget his old scores forget any "cause" just save yourself and run away with someone you love and try to make your life worth living.
This ost makes me think about life choices, nostalgia and the uncertain future choices alone.
This track just hits so hard, it's sums up being lonely and empty inside with nowhere left to turn
3:15
This has guts theme vibes
The way this song makes it feel like there's a hole in your chest should be illegal
love it
Fingers crossed that this plays in the cyberpunk anime
Well at least they used major crimes a couple of times
«Johnny Silverhand. The guy who saved my life»
V
Dreamer.
man i really cant wait to play cyberpunk 2077 again, like i actually love the again, its so good because of the sight seeing and seeing how the world is in the dark future. Once this expansion comes out, imma replay it to death.
It reminds me to make the time count…
I cant believe I never realized that this section is a spectral rendition of the Never Fade Away guitar near the refrain.
It just makes it hit so much harder. Never Fade Away, Johnny.
I wonder if this was included because Keanu Reeves likes Joy Division ?
I can't listen to this , gets me anxious
I wish to see a hour long version of this song. Was absolutely stunned by hearing it in the game
Nah Johnny, You fucked that up too.
I’ve never even played cyberpunk, and I’m in love with this song
