After one of the craziest launches for a video game, Cyberpunk 2077 faded out of the news cycle and a lot of people seemed to forget about the game. As of today however it has been 3 months since being pulled from the PlayStation Store…and it’s still not back.

  1. With so many good games to play Cyberpunk has drifted from my thoughts. The thing is I'm now not really bothered about playing it anymore. Things move on, you have one chance at a first impression and if that fails its difficult to regain consumer confidence.

  2. I have the game and played it on my ps5 for a bit and it crashed a bunch. Had a buddy with a ps4 ask me about it and was thinking of buying it and I said save your money and let him borrow it so he can see for himself.

  3. I even got the fucking book to give myself a head start for what I expected to be an RPG game and it's world and what I would be able to do and… Well I felt very stupid….

  4. I hope this actually teaches consumers this time to stop supporitng the practices of paying for a product before its complete. Pay for quality, not the promise of quality!

  5. I know it's not the be-all-end-all barometer of popularity, but I just checked and Cyberpunk 2077 has under a 1,000 stream viewers on Twitch currently. For comparison, GTAV which is now like a decade old has almost 300k viewers.

The hype death for Cyberpunk has been absolutely wild.

  6. Night City Wire after Night City Wire after Night City Wire after Night City Wire, huge promises, hype, lies, missing content, enormous number of bugs and glitches. What happened now? CDPR finally shut up and started working on the game. That is probably a good sign.

  7. I don't think Cyberpunk has the same benefit that No Man's Sky did. Nobody really knew what No Man's Sky was actually about, everything promo was intentionally vague, so a lot of the initial backlash was from people who felt mislead in that sense. In Cyberpunk we knew what kind of game it was, and were waiting for it for 10 years there wasn't any kind of misconception of the fundamentals of it.

  8. Looking at the situation all I can say is that CDPR have dug themselves in a giant hole. First off the game is not on the PSN store and if it doesn't come back after patch 1.2 it will be worse. Still I feel that the worst of this will come with the DLC cause I feel that they will make an announcement stating that is will only be available on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.

  9. It’s nothing but grandstanding & hypocrisy on Sony’s part, they’ll allow games that ARE genuine trash like The Life of Black Tiger on their store but pull Cyberpunk🙄
