  1. Ubisoft literally did things better in terms of giving NPCs character and backstories and routines, as well as making worlds feel alive… -_-
These things can be found in the "Watch Dogs" and "Assassin's Creed" franchises; The so-called "terrible" games. (Well, I don't care about Watch Dogs, but AC isn't actually bad.)

  2. I could look past the broken state of this game, if it was the roleplaying game we were promised.

Imagine having the luxury to purchase businesses/stores/stocks- bribe, blackmail or coerce your way up to a promotion if you began a Corpo playthrough, or could do an anti-hero playthrough as a Netrunner- hacking into the databases of corporations for data or money, as entertainment or for a client; Intercepting trade/fuel/commodity convoys and selling the loot as a Nomad.

This is all entirely possible in the tabletop game, of which Cyberpunk is crafted from, so why are we playing a pre-established character that we can't develop? Why are we playing the character that CDPR created? This isn't a roleplaying game: it's not even Cyberpunk.

The RPG elements exist only within the combat system. Can't use my Corpo status to bribe the police or set up the new kid who's after my job, can't use my Street Kid background to coerce various enemy NPCs into giving me some leniency or starting a territory war by spreading rumours. Can't even live the life of a Nomad, because we are forced to play a pre-established mercenary.

Can't play a Media? Can't play a Netrunner? Can't even play as a Corporate (which is a role in the pen-and-paper game, by the way). CP 2077 is not only an insult to the PnP game, it's an insult to RPG fans.

  3. Yes there's still bugs in the game….When you look in the mirror @ your apartment, your character is naked for 2-3 seconds then your clothes appear.. Can they ever get this right? Who knows.

  4. Playing on Xbox one S.
It was more playable before the 1.2 patch. Combat scenes are now glitching about 50% of the time.
When drawing a weapon for combat, it's now invisible for about the first 30 seconds, so I'm just killing people with thin air.
    People floating everywhere.
Cars are either missing tires or halfway submerged into the road.
Still cant notice a change in the graphics.

  5. This reminds me of vampire the masquerade – bloodlines. Came out in 2004. Really good game. Buggy as all hell! It took YEARS for it to become playable and you know who had to fix it? Not the company that made it. No. It was the community. They fixed it with tons and tons of community made patches. This game will probably end up the same way.
