  1. Honestly this game shouldn't never been released on PS4/Xbox one Whenever you're in this cross generational point it sucks You have to support the previous gen this method of making games is why the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S games do not look quite as good as developers may want While they look better than the previous generation it is still not quite the dramatic upgrade that people may have wanted or expected Bringing a game from one generation to the next has its limitations

  2. Is there a current gen optimised version (ie for PS5 specifically) yet? Wasn’t that going to be a thing? Or if I got it for PS5 is it basically the PS4 version just running a bit smoother?

  3. I built a pc, got Cyberpunk, played the hell out of it, heard rumours that crossprogression would be implemented between pc and console>bought a ps5, bought cyberpunk again, didn't want to start over, waited, the crossprogression patch dropped, can't transfer pc saves to console…WTF

  4. Hopefully they keep the fixes and quality of life updates coming. I bought the game on launch for PC, but there's still something about it that makes it feel like it's just a playground with a story in it, rather than a story with it's accompanying world. Does that make sense? Maybe that's just how the game is, but it's a bit difficult for me to become immersed.

  5. Only thing I'm here about what he said it was the cyberpunk 2077 anime he said watch it because it's going to be good because he was watching it and all that stuff I think he needed that part out because it's not out yet and I don't get all it's by time to time zone crap . Then again I ain't going to start this game up I beat it I had a lot of freaking bugs and glitches some was funny some was not they had something going to me they release it really really early they should automatically kept it bottle up and talk about it before they try to make it

  6. The last gen should have been dropped and the game delayed to now. I feel like it would have been better received if it was released today. Don't get me wrong if you have a ps5 or sx don't sleep on this game now. It has been vastly improved and the story is one of the best I have played.

  7. It was a mistake to even release Cyberpunk 2077 on last gen in the 1st place. But they released it anyway. So it's thier responsibility to make things right (not that they will).

I fully understand that they need to abandon the last gen versions. And focus on the the next gen version. But they owe it to people who bought it on last gen to make it right.

I'm not entirely sure what they can do. But even a free upgrade to next gen isn't enough. Especially since most people can't even get a next gen console yet.

For starters I think they need to make the upgrade path free and available for atleast 3 years after the next gen versions are released. And give the opinion to upgrade to ANY console. So if I bought it for PS4 and can only get an Xbox Series then I can get a free upgrade to a digital version of the Xbox Series game.

Along with maybe giving the anime away for free too. For last gen users. That way they can continue the Cyberpunk 2077 story in some form. Because they won't be getting any of DLC.

That's my opinion atleast. It's sad to see how Cyberpunk 2077 turned out. I was so excited for this game. But luckily I wasn't able to open my copy right away. So the next day I was able to get a full refund.

Currently I have no plans to ever play Cyberpunk 2077. The only thing that MAY change my mind is if the anime is good. But I'll definitely give it a watch atleast because I love Studio Trigger.

  8. All these simps excusing CDPR for abandoning last gen is pathetic. The fact is they sold million of copies on last gen consoles, so they have a duty to support those people who purchased on those systems. It's not even as if the current gen is all guns blazing either – it's a wet fart.

  9. Excited to see this. Bought it at launch on PS4 and you know the rest, but stopped playing it quickly because I wanted to experience the devs vision as it was meant to be played once it was ready. And I couldn’t stand all the division in the gaming community around it if I wanted to look something up online. I now have a PS5. Anyone with experience on PS5, it time to get back in or wait for this update?
