  1. Here’s a PSA for Alex and everyone else. This game is pretty awesome IMO, however the prologue and Act I while good is much more linear and introductory. It doesn’t become fully realized until Act II and you get to level 10-12. It was about the 12 hour mark for me to feel like the game was hitting on all cylinders. From the combat, to the missions, content, and characters. But everyone’s mileage will vary of course. We’ll see how it goes from here.

  2. 1) Did the game live up to the hype?
    ->Absolutely not , but that was never gonna happen realistically, the way people talked about this game before release was like it was the second coming of Christ , the marketing campaign certainly didn’t help

    2) Am I having fun ?
    ->(playing on PC with a rtx card) Hell yeah , the driving is decent , some annoying bugs but nothing game breaking , shooting is fun , side quests(not gigs littering the map, side jobs in the journal given to you by characters like Judy or Panam) are awesome, main story seems solid (nothing groundbreaking) , great voice acting

    3)Is it the most amazing looking game ever?
    ->No , it looks good but not breathtaking

    4)Is it better than the Witcher 3?
    ->Personally, for me No

    5)Is night city the most living breathing open world sandbox ever ?
    -> No , that title belongs to Red Dead Redemption 2’s open world

  3. Feels kind of empty… What kind of machine are you playing on? The world fills very vibrant and alive to me, but I have a very high end PC, so it might depend on what you're playing on until CD Projekt fixes up their optimisation issues.

  4. Seems like a lot of disappointment here. I’ll just say I’m having a blast about 20 hours in and in early Act II. I’m finding the world engrossing and as far as the map goes, once I started using the zoom in and zoom out feature more, it’s actually one of the better maps I’ve seen. It is a densely packed city after all and I think they handled it well under the circumstances. The mini map could definitely be improved. Sometimes the AI is perfect and sometimes the AI is super wonky but we know they’re going to fix that eventually, like a lot of the other issues in the game (non-performance) that I mostly find minor. I can’t say definitively how I’ll feel about it all until I finish but so far, so good.

  5. It disappointed on all fronts. Even if the bugs weren’t there this would be a disappointing game. They promised it would be something like no other experience and at its core it’s definitely fun just not groundbreaking like it was over hyped up to be

  6. Haha after attacking a gamespot reviewer for a 7 out of 10 reviewer…… for not playing it enough… you can clearly point out its disappointing after 8 hours or so. What a joke.

  7. To me the most disappoint part is the story and that no matter what you do, the only choice you have is how you want to die, without having a real impact on anything. Once you enter Mikoshi you are turned into an engram. Meaning the character you started the game as is dead and gets replaced by a copy.

  8. In an interview with the devs who worked on cyberpunk 2077 they said that the game was suppose to release in 2022 was suppose to be next gen only however the higher ups at CD project red were the ones that made the call to release the game even though they knew it wasn't ready
