  1. Has anybody else noticed the gunplay, the fluidity, the just 'moving around in general' just feels much more responsive? I play on Xbox OneX so I'm stuck on a reasonably consistent 30 FPS. Before 1.5, it felt janky and like there was always I kind of lag to the fluidity of the game. Now, it just clicks. That alone out of all the astronomical improvements really makes me happy. Well done CDPR 👌

  2. This video helped me make my decision to get the game for ps5. I had played it on the 4 and dealt with every bug my friends had and some they hadn't. The story is what made me slog my way to the end, having watched this video I decided to make the purchase for the 5 and so far am loving everything. This is truly how the game should be played. My first run was a street kid and now that the patch is out I can finally do my Nomad and Corpo runs.

  3. With all the additions, I think I'll redownload it. Didn't delete it, just haven't downloaded it again after my old external died. But it'll have to wait until I'm done with the new Voice of Cards. I'm hopeful it's evened out, as I had a great time on release and then my last run was rough.
Monofilament wire. I had a legendary I stumbled on and man was it good.
I'm hopeful for more substantial romance DLC. From what I've heard the new stuff is fairly superficial.

  4. I've encountered a few bugs so far. Just got the game yesterday and I'm playing it for the first time. I've had two really bad T-posing cutscenes and one scene where someone who was sitting down stood up and walked around, but their character was still sitting down.

I'm still enjoying it and it certainly isn't enough to ruin the game for me, but these are some fairly egregious glitches and I'm only about 7-8 hours into the game (loads of sidequests and fucking around, not many cutscenes encountered yet).

  5. I was kind of semi-considering getting this game despite all of the terrible things people say about it but now I’m REALLY considering it. Also who the hell is the guy behind the dude on the right? is that a cut out or something?

  6. I'm looking forward to trying patch 1.5, I already have 160+ hours in the game from launch, but I was one of the people hit with the pc launch crash bug and nothing has worked to sort that for me yet.

  7. Honestly this is why I didn't pick up the game at lunch and continued not to touch it, and do not pick up or preorder open world games in the last several years. I knew that given CDPR's pedigree they would eventually fix it as long as people didn't bury it like they did with Anthem, and I'm glad to hear they seem to have finally made some very strong moves in that direction. May finally be time to pick it up.

  8. This has gotten me more excited to hop back in and start a new game. I enjoyed it tremendously the first time around but I would love to see how this new update makes the game from the beginning. It took me 124 hours to beat the game as a Corpo (I also did every side mission) so I'm interested in seeing how life as a Street Kid changes things

  9. I started the game when it first came out enjoyed it when it was bugging out or crashing. Although I got frustrated to the point not wanting to play it until it’s fixed. I didn’t finish the story got near the end, but I’m so happy that it’s fixed and polished now. Can’t wait to get back into it!

  10. Relieved to hear this. After being sorely disappointed by the original buggy version and getting a refund, I picked it up again for £20 during a sale, with the intention of waiting for the next gen upgrade. Now it’s time to give it another chance.

  11. Finally, the game is where it should have been in 2020. Movement and driving are weightier, which I love. Crowds are busier where it makes sense for them to be, so markets etc. feel more realistic.

Hoping that we see a bit of a No Man's Sky style renaissance for Cyberpunk now.

  12. Can I still buy Gorrilla Arms, max out the blunt melee combat skill-tree and run around punching people's heads 'till they explode, thus role-playing as Kenshiro from FotNS? If yes, then…10/10 game's great.

  13. Sorry but, in my opinion, it still sucks. I tried tried the trial and the driving and gun play are just ridiculous. I got up to the VR simulation shooting gallery thing and the enemies were just so darn bullet spongy. And as for the driving? Simply turning slightly sends you into a ridiculous spin. Its like driving on ice. I might give it another try before the trial runs out, but so far, I am really not impressed. The guns seem to have waaaay to much recoil, too. Dunno if I’m just being crap but maybe I need to give it more time.

  14. I'm sad because I'm one of the PS4 Pro players that got the "corrupted data" notification when trying to start the game after updating. I really want to jump back in as soon as they get this part fixed.

  15. Unfortunately, the incompetent release of the game has likely damaged any chance at CDPR recouping their future losses. This is the 2nd consecutive game they've released where it was borderline broken at launch (Witcher 3). People are going to start being more hesitant when buying games when the recent track record is releasing broken games.
