CD Projekt RED has cleaned up the open world RPG since its disastrous launch nearly two years ago, but it still falls woefully short of what was promised.

  1. To be honest games and the developers don't deserve a second chance, the should suffer, you launched a trash game at a price point, failed to bring a decent product which happens oh so often. They company's and games should suffer badly. Not just this game all games and company's if they don't they will keep dropping crap games. They should go broke and get the credit of dropping trash after years of hype

  3. I played through this game on PC at launch and twice on PS5. I still play it randomly. It’s a great game and is different than most games I’ve ever played. Unfortunately, I never finished Witcher 3.

  4. Good lord give it a rest. Y’all didn’t even ride no man’s sky this hard and that dude flat out lied. Not release a broken game but literally outright lied about features.

  5. As I see it as of today, CDPR still does not deserve credit or excuses from anyone for delivering an unfinished and unpolished product at launch, that's what they were supposed to do in the first place 2y ago when they start to sell it for 60 bucks. Gamers who bought it back then were at loss for all this time. When CDPR fully delivers AND further improve on CP2077 to compensate for their own mistakes, only then their efforts should be recognized. No Man's Sky is the perfect example, they made huge mistakes, but end up delivering and are still improving it and adding content to compensate gamers. The edgerunners anime gave CP2077 a marketing boost and now more people are more interested and playing the game how it was (almost) supposed to be played at launch 2y ago, this show wouldn't work for the game back then, it would backfire even more. I really hope they fully deliver and keep improving it so I can finally purchase and play it the way it was meant to be played.

  6. It’s a decent game, beautiful visuals and interesting characters and they’ve done a lot to correct the launch issues but the issue for me, as someone who’s followed the development for years, is that it’s never going to be the games we were promised.

  7. I jumped back in after watching the anime. I’m very impressed. But not that impressed. It’s fun enough but still not what was promised. I still have my issues. The story takes a nosedive after Jackie dies. I still say that making it 1st person, was to cover issues with the 3D models, and they played to that large base who loves that POV. The immersion y’all!!! But CDPR has worked to improve the game, and I have to give them props. No, they’re not off my shit list lol. They’re also not kicked out the house, and I’m excited to see what they do with the DLC, and eventual sequel. Especially because I think that’s what they’re really looking towards.

  8. I don't have any issue with Cyberpunk 2077 or CD Project Red. I have not bought the game yet, and will do sometime probably when I have hardware to max it.

That it's taken almost two years is no big deal to me. Quite a few games take a while after release before they are ready. RDR2 was a mess on PC on release. That is at least as bad since it was already complete on console.

I half expected C2077 to need more time to mature after release. The Witcher 3 did so it seemed possible I'd need to wait. Given there is not the heardware to max at launch there was no impatience with me.

That it is ready to play and may improve yet further and get more content, is a bonus of waiting. By the time I play it I will judge it and CDPR, only as it is then. The failed launch and time taken to fix will be consigned to the past.

  9. The problems with the game have not decreased. Technically, on PC the game runs worse than at launch. Some bugs have disappeared, but there are others now. But there are now more stable mods that improve the game a lot.

  10. Good video. This has been in my head. I'm on ps4 pro (can't afford the next tier currently) however, I did purchase the game on old gen (obviously before next-gen was announced) and I'm genuinely conflicted. They promised stuff on last gen – I purchased it with that promise in mind. I stuck with my copy and waited and was expecting a solid expansion. Now, I can't get that either.

Should I give them credit for sticking to the game and supporting it when these fixes should have been done in the first place?

Or do I forgive and hope they do better next time around?

It's so hard for me speak positively about CDPR even though they did the right thing, but would they even have done the right thing if there wasn't such a massive backlash?

Like you said the game is nowhere near what they promised on last gen or on current gen and while I get that they should focus on newer gen, I cant help but feel that players like myself have kind of bring screwed over a bit here.

Don't trust corpos, hey chooms! Lol

I'm not even a huge CDPR fan, didnt really enjoy the witcher as much as everyone else but they sold me on CP2077.

  11. I got it Day-1 on PS4. But after seeing all the reports on problems I didn't played it.
Patiently waited, until the PS5 Free upgrade came out and even then I waited some more until the major patch around May to then finally play it for the first time; didn't bothered with the PS4 version.
It was totally worth the wait. I did waste money getting it day one and not playing it, but considering I stayed away from spoilers, the first time I played it-it felt like the game I paid full price for.

  12. The reason there's a spike is cause obviously the anime, and the low price of the game. U can get it for 5$ from the garbage bin at Gamestop for consoles, and cheap as hell on PC. Doesn't necessarily means the game is nearly as good now as fanboys proclaimed. I have a Beast PC and game is still optimized like poop. And bugs are there. Is it in a better condition then wen it released? Yes.. Does it represent there fake trailers and gameplay, and there so called "The Next generation of open world games" Nope☝🏻

  13. It's pretty interesting, that out of all the games you mentioned making a comeback, Cyberpunk was the only single player experience on that list.

Not what was promised but glad they got it in working order. I really enjoy the world that was created. The main story, side missions & music were all really good.
Glad Edgerunners came with the defibrillator.

    Thanks for the vid

  14. So true. If only they took the care and patience they did with the awesome Netflix anime Cyberpunk Edgerunners. I'll jump back in and give it another look because of the anime.

  15. We haven't forgotten how CDPR released a pile of unplayable garbage at Christmas after taking our money. We're still waiting for all the content they ripped out of this game, instead they keep handing out cosmetic items like candy and making cartoons.

  17. I can’t do anything that requires a phone, Judy is just gone so can’t do her missions and I complete side quests and says I still need to complete them. This game is unplayable and can’t finish main story. Does anyone know how to fix any of this?

  18. At this rate it should be around 2030 before it's something I might call good. From where I'm standing, people underrated the original game and overrated the progress that's been made since then. It's "decent," but it has a laundry list of flaws longer than is even worth posting in a Youtube comment still. Speaking of raining on parades, by the way, No Man's Sky and Sea of Thieves will never be good.
