this is actually added to the inventory after anytime you let Johnny take control, feels like its a mistake item left over by the Devs and we are not suppose to have access to it
Yeah, even though I’ve designed my V to look like the Major, I too equipped Johnny’s Silverhand. First just to see what it does but ended up keeping it because it looked cool. And to be fair, Motoko has had times in the anime’s of getting her arm blown off or ripping one of her arms during a mission so in my opinion the engram effect probably just hints at such events
Perhaps this is an indication that the whole Silverhand thing was a chain side quest mission before. But they've changed their mind and implemented him as the crucial part of the game. Or maybe this has something to do with another quest, but they scrapped it, hence there's no indication of his arm getting into your inventory nor a name and information on it.
I hate to have to say this, but; CD Projekt Red did us dirty once again, by removing any indication that this arm was ever and “obtainable item”. As such it is impossible to find in the inventory, let alone honor the memory of the legend in your head😔
For anyone Playing on their DISC copy of the game on PS4 –
you can actually still get this arm by turning off wifi on your PlayStation, and then delete the game. Then put in the data disc, and it will download the Raw Version 1.0 of the game and that’s how you can still get the arm.
Don’t worry Choom, your saves and trophies will still be there. Saves on 1.61 update will be labeled corrupted but once you turn back on the wifi, the game will instantly update back to 1.61 and your saves will be intact.
But be prepared, this game sucks ass on 1.0 You’ll be getting crashes within over an hour or sooner. phone call glitches, funny bugs, game looks terrible, rendering issues, Ai of enemies are trash but easy, etc. Your better off focusing on the story leading to Chippin In mission with rogue and A Like Surpreme – where you get the band together.
Once you finish A Like Surpreme, your good to go. Equip that badass arm, save your game and turn back on wifi and let it update.
Plz, Don’t bother doing an ending. I did Rogue’s ending and as always, the game tells you it will “load you back to your last save and you’ll get your rewards” but my last save was the Path of Glory mission … so I wasn’t able to get rogue’s gun. it just kept taking me back to the ending, couldn’t imagine this happening to someone at launch, would’ve been frustrating.
Also: idk if this works on Xbox 1 or even disc copies of current gen but it works for PS4 100%. My original save back in 2021 has the arm and it’s a damn near perfect save but my dumbass got rid of most of the iconic weapons like the widow maker. So getting those iconic weapons along with Johnny’s arm was worth the annoying 13hr playthrough of Version 1.0

Thank you. I didn't see any notification about getting it, so i wouldn't have even known it was in my inventory without this video.

The first time I got this, it was a random item pick-up in a rubbish heap on the south west side of the map.
