  1. i have theory
they had great idea (highest praise i can give that's based of few detailes many people most probably don't care about) and then started to chop everything until there was only broken mess of shredded (poorly glued) content

  2. Hey Chooms! There is currently an issue with the video stuck at 8K. I have the same problem on my end. YouTube are currently looking into it. Hopefully fixed soon.

  3. What he said about Johnny being an unreliable source is just what I noticed during one of my latest playthrough and also what Alt tells us about him when we meet her.
Johnny's memories are biased from his own POV and because of his massive ego, there are many small hint about this and it's nice that they finally confirmed it

  4. Idk, I think just like Johnny…deconstructing the Morgan Blackhand "cool and god like competence" archetype is important. What does it REALLY take to be that in this world. How much lying, how much did he sell out to Militech, how much agency does he REALLY have, etc.

However, unlike Johnny…I think having him spread out over the franchise to then be deconstructed later is a better choice than dropping him in an Expansion. Johnny is just a rockerboy…he's a simple archetype. Morgan is something larger, he's a power fantasy wrapped in a "competent in all ways" ribbon. I think that needs to be addressed and the myth of that needs to be interrogated…however, I'd be down if they present the myth first.

Imagine we have to fight him first, then we are on his side, then we eventually get to know him before the send off where he is unpacked and honest.

Having the expansions be locked behind special Johnny memories is smart. Have him remember Blackhand and maybe he can help, which leads us into Militech, etc.

Would be cool to see Militech's rise after the fall of Arasaka and then Blackhand resurfaces only for us to team with him to take down Militech.

I hope Blackhand doesn't have that hair because it's ugly as fuck.

  5. The thought of Adam Smasher dating Michiko Arasaka is a tad horrifying. I mean, Smasher was already starting to become more machine than meat back in in the early 2000s when, likely during the Second Corporate War, he was badly injured to the point of needing extensive cybernetics and implants. Fast forward to Michiko Arasaka turning into an adult, and… well… that's after the Arasaka Tower bombing where Smasher was left even less human and around the nearly full borg he is today. As you can see, Smasher… doesn't… exactly… have… y'know… The equipment. So… I don't even want to know how that worked.
